William R. Doran, DO

Dr. Doran did a partial knee replacement on me two weeks ago. His explanation of the Mako robot gave me the confidence to proceed with the surgery. Being in the operating room before the procedure was profound - the entire staff moved about the room like participants in a well-practiced ballet! The fact that Dr. Doran was able to do a "partial" and was as pleased as me - was very special. Recovery is going very well. I will definitely recommend Dr. Doran to everyone.

My first visit to the office was over a hour wait after I got in the room. Then he was a little snippy with me during his questions to me. So not personable. I didn’t learn and came back for the follow up. We scheduled the hand surgery. I got to the hospital at my appointment time and he was not there. I was asked to come back 3 hrs later and he still didn’t not show for hours later. No respect for my time but offices will cancel patient appointments after 15min and want to be paid their full fee. I will go for my follow up appt but finding another doctor for my other hand. It makes me wonder why all the excellent reviews and I didn’t receive the same treatment and courtesy.

My last visit with Dr Doran was today, I had fractured my wrist last spring , he has been patient and caring throughout this journey. Thank you!

I recently had carpal tunnel release performed by Dr. Doran. From my initial visit, through the surgical experience and post-op follow-up visit, I felt my questions and needs were all met. I never felt rushed through my visits. I feel I could call him with any orthopaedic needs. Could not be more pleased.

I had a rotatory cuff repair in Seaford, De by Dr. William Doran. The surgery when smoothly and the repair is excellent. His bedside manner and office visits were very informative, professional, and with a genuine concern for a positive recovery and my overall well-being. We are lucky to have such a competent doctor in our area. I will continue and already have recommended him to anyone I know.

Dr Doran was very skillful and passionate during my finance's recent knee surgery.. The staff at the Orthopedic Center were caring and very efficient..I would recommend this group to all who need any kind of Orthopedic Care..

Wow! I had Reverse Shoulder Surgery by Dr. Doran: Dr. Doran did a fantastic job within a few days no pain, able to drive and use my arm naturally, it's been 6 weeks and can once again swing a golf club. Would recommend it and if needed would have my other shoulder done. This turned out to be better than ever expected.

Dr Doran had to be at the hospital at a very inconvenient time of night to care for my cellulitis infected knee. He was great at explaining everything that had to be done and was there the next day to touch bases after surgery. His staff is first rate and very attentive and friendly. He is careful not to waste your money or his time.

My husband and I have both had to visit Dr. Doran for broken bones. He explains everything in detail before and then what is expected after surgery. He is also an excellent surgeon.
