Dr. Yelena Bracchini, MD

I have seen Dr. Bracchini off and on for 9 years. I see her as a hematologist, rather than oncologist. She is professional, thorough, friendly and very capable. I have also dealt with hematologists downtown at the medical center, and have found Dr. Bracchini is much more caring, dependable and professional than any I dealt with there.

While I find Dr. Bracchini to be a good doctor some of her staff are incompetent. I have a 90 day check up with blood work and I cannot get them to send the paper work to Quest for the tests. I have went to have blood drawn twice and both times no paper work. Today a Quest representative called them and tried to get the paper work for me and it was a no go. I have also been told by one of her staff that she was not going to do certain things as she did not have time. I have been lied t about getting records by them which makes me do it for them. Thus a 1 star.

Dr. Bracchini is very thorough, knowledgeable, very intelligent, will listen and make adjustments to treatments when needed to allow your body to tolerate the treatment more comfortably, she has a great bedside manner, she explains everything in easy to understand language, she answers all questions, and she will talk to you on a personal level, and the best, is she gives me a hug when I leave. She is the best! L.A.

I was treated by Dr. Bracchini in 2014 for blood clots. She is a caring Dr. who knows her job. I highly recommend her to any one.

This MD makes you feel at ease and takes all the time necessary to explain every detail of her prosecution of a diagnosis.She speaks to you, not at you. Tells you what ordered tests are for, what they reveal and what it means to her(the MD) and what they mean to you(the patient). Rare personable MD who cares about you.
