Dr. Yuri Michael Lewicky, MD

Dr Lewicky has treated my wife and me for the last few years. We travel 300 miles round trip to see him. He came highly recommended through friends. He is approachable and straightforward with answers and advice. Where three other doctors said “the pain will go away”, Dr Lewicky took the time to order tests to see the cause. He found the “pain will go away” was actually stage four cancer. We have been able to get a course of treatment and we’re still going strong 18 months later. We highly recommend Dr Lewicky.

Dr. Lewicki is an excellent surgeon. My shoulder is doing great. Always willing to explain what the shoulder looks like and why he feels like the surgery was a success. Often runs late in appointments, but worth it because he’s awesome.

Dr. Lewicky repaired a massive tear to my rotator cuff and bicep. The surgery experience with Dr. Lewicky and Flagstaff Medical Center was impressive. I am currently 3 months into a 9 month recovery and making great progress. I would highly recommend Dr. Lewicky to anyone in need of orthopedic care.

Doctor Lewicky was wonderful for explaining what was going on with my shoulder. He took time to explain what was required to repair the damage, the time to recover, and the physical therapy required. At NO TIME did I feel alone in this process. AND Doc was just as engaged during the follow up visits. You can trust these folks!

Didn't mind the 50 minute wait time because I very much trust and appreciate Dr Lewicky. He's been providing council and care for a shoulder in need, and working with me toward a required outcome.

I saw Dr. Lewicky because a friend had shoulder surgery done by him and was doing amazingly well for having had rotator cuff repair. I too had an aching shoulder that seemed to be getting worse. His office did x-rays and he told me there are no tears but perhaps I had some bursitis as a result of a previous surgery. He could give me an order for PT, do a steroid shot or both. I said I would be happy to do both. He gave me a steroid shot. My shoulder felt better the day after the shot and has continued to improve. My preferred PT company can’t get me in for 2 months and I am fine with that. I appreciated Dr. Lewicky’s kind but professional manner and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone seeking orthopedic treatment!
