Summary
As a pulmonologist and critical care physician, I care for patients with lung problems both in the outpatient clinical setting and also in the hospital intensive care unit. Common issues I see in patients include asthma, chronic cough, shortness of breath and often will see patients who are worried about a finding on a CT scan of their chest. I work hard to reassure them. It brings joy to my heart when I am able to hear back from them later that they are doing well. I treat every patient as if they are a member of my own family. I try to listen and try to help solve their health issue by providing the best advice that I can. If I do't have the answer, I will research and I will work with colleagues to find the answer.
