Dr. Ertel was excellent. She was personable and very receptive to concerns and questions. Appeared to be very thorough and explained my results clearly. I was particularly impressed with her knowledge of issues with my “senior citizen “ visual issues. Overall I got the impression of real care for me as a person and patient. Her techs were also very good and efficient. I am fairly new to Colorado but my visit and experience with her and her staff definitely verified why Colorado is so highly ranked as one of the best states in the U.S. for medical care.

What a wonderful and thorough doctor. I’ve had RK and LASIK surgery on my eyes so it was explained to me my cataract surgery is going to be slightly more challenging. Even with that news I feel my eyes are in the best hands. I highly recommend Dr Ertel.

Dr. Ertel came highly recommended to me by a specialist in a related field. She has done both my cataracts. I cannot say enough good things about her. While at the surgery center, several healthcare professionals approached me unsolicited to offer their opinions of Dr. Ertel both as a Physician and colleague. I maybe shooting myself in the foot by saying this as it will likely become more difficult to get an appointment with her, But, I cannot imagine an ophthalmologist who I would recommend more highly than Dr. Ertel. She is knowledgeable, professional, kind, gentle and more. She thoroughly explains everything from start to finish. She is wonderful!
