Dr. Aaron Shafer, MD

When I went to Dr. Shafer, my doctor had offered little hope in treating my ovarian cancer. Dr. Shafer and his team gave me encouragement and a treatment plan. Seven months later, I'm in remission. Dr. Shafer did a wonderful job with my surgery. He is always patient to answer any questions or concerns. I'm very pleased with his treatment, as well as that of his team.

I'm 83 and just beginning another trial in life. I have such a peace with De. Shafer. So far he has made me feel comfortable with my choice. The Master Healer will guide both of us through this adventure and we both shall win. I am extremely pleased with Dr. Shafer and his staff and like the availability of the Sugar Land M D Anderson Cancer Center and not having to go downtown to the med center for everything..

Dr shafer is excellent, compassionate a wonderful Doctor, I had endometrial cancer,he performed total hysterectomy and my recovery was phenomenal. He calls you when you need it. His office staff is also exceptional. I highly recommend Dr Shafer

Dr. Aaron Shafer located in Hartford, CT has been a complete waste of time. His lack of experience, lack of knowledge is extremely noticeable. I can't judge his skills as a surgeon thus will not comment on that part. If it has anything to do with treating cancer he will use outdated methods and won't take the time to even make sure the treatment he provides is the best choice. His research is summed up by doing a 30 second computer search of clinical trials that anyone with a computer can do. Many times while bringing up very popular drugs in conversation he knew nothing about them. Seems he is only interested in treating cancer as they did 20 years ago. If you want to be treated as a template, one size fits all this doctor is for you. If you want a fighting chance find a better doctor.
