Dr. Abeer R Awad, MD

This physician is rude, dismissive, and a very poor clinician. She does not listen to your symptoms. She missed a major diagnosis and the result was a life long medical problem.

Perhaps I saw Dr. Awad on one of her "off" days, but when I saw her, I found her to be not helpful. She hastily made a lot of guesses about my symptoms that were not accurate, and she did not try to verify if her guesses were accurate by asking thoughtful follow up questions. I had pain in various parts of my body that seemed to shift. She was quick to dismiss it as a depression or chronic fatigue syndrome. I switched to a different doctor, who referred me to the right specialists and got an accurate diagnosis, which turned out to be an initial viral infection that had triggered an auto-immune response. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this doctor to my friends or family.
