Dr. Agnes Guanlao David, MD

Dr David may know surgery but my appointment was a consultation and it was not good. She had poor communication skills, acted annoyed when acted for clarification, didn't discuss options, and overall, I was unimpressed with her as a physician. I do not recommend her at all. Additionally, her office is cluttered with all sorts of toy dolls, etc which could not possibly ever be cleaned.

She saved my life and for that I'm grateful, but I would never recommend her to anyone. Her bedside manner is just awful. She is cold and uncaring, and I had to Google after-care instructions because her one-word answers were woefully inadequate.

I love her ! She was so wonderful. I felt like her most important patient. She explained my procedure thoroughly and answered all my questions. We were so impressed with the one on one time she spent with us. I will recommend her to everyone.

Excellent surgeon, answers all questions, always prompt, very pleasant. I've had 2 surgeries with Dr. David, would highly recommend her.

Our daughter had a juvenile fibroadenoma removed at the age of 15. We felt comfortable from the start with Dr. David. The nurses at Hill Breast Clinic recommended her since we lived at the beach. She is thorough and responsive, seemed confident and not arrogant. She explained everything prior to the surgery and gave us all the information from the actual surgery. She encouraged a tight fitting sports bra post surgery and my daughter has had no pain (not even Tylenol after the surgery), unless she accidentally pokes or hits her breast. We highly recommend her!

if you visit this surgeon, do not expect to hear about any options -- only that you must have surgery... do your research and do not allow anyone to rush you into surgery

Dr. David is an awesome surgeon. She did such a great job, and i am so happy with my results. She spends the time to tell you what is going on and what you can expect. Her bedside manner is great and made me feel very comfortable. If i needed more surgery i wouldn't hesitate using her again.

Did a poor job with my hernia surgery, the mesh she applied did not hold up correctly. Felt as though I was number, being herded through the sugery gates. She only cares about getting you in and out as fast as possible. Dr.David's concerns seem to be strickly quota, and finacially based, and not on the underlineing curing of her patient. After 8 months I had reaccuring symtoms and will have to have another surgery to repair the issue. I am not sold on the mesh hernia procedure. Believe it may be marketing propaganda, and doesn't hold up as well as well stated. As i am sure the Surgeons don't mind reaccuring symtoms, which only equals more financial income. They seem to like to help the issue, but never permately fix it. I followed all post surgery guidlines to the tee, only to be back in the same situation again.
