Dr Ahmad Latefi

I had a spinal fusion with Dr Latefi back in 2016. I continued to have terrible pain at my three month and six month after care visit which I expressed to him. He ordered an MRI which he never looked at the CD and only the written impression from the radiologist. I had to have a second surgery to correct his surgery because he never fused the top of my spacer. And I was in constant chronic pain. Dr Latefi told me to go to pain management. “There is nothing wrong with you!” He was arrogant, non-compassionate, and couldn’t admit that possibly something went wrong during his surgery. I want to warn everyone never to have a fusion with him. I lost one year of my life on painkillers laying on my couch. Thank God I had another surgeon fix his mistakes so I could carry-on with my life and my job. It was an awful experience.

Very compassionate ALWAYS answers my question great surgeon. I HAD A VERY COMPLEC BACK SURVERY ANTERIOR AND POSTERIOR AND I BACAME HUMAN FROM BEING CRIPPLED WHEN OTHER Drs gave up on me. I can't thank Dr later enough. His office staff are amazing

Dr Latefi is such an amazing person.What a wonderful human being and a compassionate doctor/ surgeon all in one. I wish there were more doctors around with hearts of gold like him.Thank you so much for all your help!

Dr ahmed lateefi was very rude didn't want to answer all queries asked by the patient . Very arrogant .my mother doesn't want to do the surgery with him . He was saying he's a doctor he knows obviously that's why we appoached him . But it was a very bad experience. .....Awwwww

After waiting for 75 minutes, the Dr. didn't give us any useful information whatsoever. Granted, we were there just for a follow up and my husband, the patient, was recovering very nicely. Dr. Latefi could have at least taken the time to answer some questions and engaged with us to let us know what is to be expected.

I had back surgery with Dr. Latefi. I had a fusion done on the lumbar part of my back. The entire procedure was a pleasant one for me. Dr. Latefi, The entire staff at his office in Great Neck, The hospital he works out of North Shore LIJ, were all great to me. Very informative, caring, and they make you feel as ease. I was extremely scared with this procedure. One year has gone by and today I feel great! I am walking again and that for me is a blessing. Keep up the good work Dr. Latefi, your an angel.
