Terrible staff Dr is more concerned with being a teaching facility than a doctors office Forgot my refills last visit Became a nightmare Dealing with the staff is absolutely like pulling teeth

You should be careful with this doctor he perscribed my gf vyvanse while she was going through psychosis. At the end he pushed her on haldol against her will with the threat of droping as a patient. He could not see that her symptoms were getting worse with haldol and she ended up taking her life.

Dr. Potluri needs to reevaluate his staff management. I have been going there for 2 years and have finally hit my limit. The staff continously make appointment errors and have no regard for what that will do to a mentally I'll person. Instead of kindness they show defensiveness and will not help smooth the error over. I was treated terribly by the office manager who was rude and raising her voice, so i lost my temper (as a mentally I'll person might) but I was being spoken too rudely and voices got raised. I was told to not come back. After 2 years of no misunderstandings and positive results. I was treated like no one and kicked out.

I have been seeing Dr. Potluri for close to a year now. His office manager Rosa is very rude and disrespectful to clients. I have called and left messages to have the dr call me because I was going through a very hard time and kept calling to speak with him, I finally got a call back after 3 weeks of calling just for dr. Potluri to snap off on me even though I was telling him in detail what was going on and how I was feeling and that I think my meds were not helping. He snapped off on me and his exact words were he said my name and then said I have been doing this for over 20yrs I know what I’m doing and hung up on me. Just an FYI I lost my best friend, my first husband committed suicide and my high school friend committed suicide all in the same month a few years ago but I still have issues during that month because it was 1 week after another after another and I was calling him because they found my 20yr old cousin dead at her apartment and I was struggling. I’m sorry but if a person… is struggling and the dr knows the history he should make the time to speak to you quickly or state I need to see you ASAP. Instead I get yelled at and hung up on. I do not recommend this dr to anyone.

Amazing doctor ! I have been seeing Dr. Potluri for about 8 years now and I feel like it has been a lifetime. That's how much positive change I have had in my life. I've had stomach issues my whole life and was never asked by a doctor about any anxiety. So much pain and unnecessary medical procedures could have been resolved if I had gone to a psychiatrist sooner. I was always so anxious and any stress would result in obsessive and irrational thoughts. Within a month with , I was experiencing very little to any anxiety and depression. My stomach issues are under control now without any stomach medications. I would have never dreamed that I could go a day without anxiety and yet, here I am. One of the biggest things I appreciate about Dr. Potluri is that he works until he has you on the right dosage of medications and monitors you closely while he is adjusting dosages or adding/subtracting medications. Also, he has and encourages you to attend one of several support groups in the… community. It is so encouraging to see that you are not alone in your mental health journey. Im so happy in a way I haven't been before, have increased energy, and it has allowed me to be a better person and more importantly, a better mom! THE OFFICE OF DR POTLURI AND PERSONNEL ARE EXTREMELY KIND AND POLITE. I HAVE BEING UNDER HIS CARE FOR APPROXIAMELY SEVEN MONTHS AND SINCE MY FIRST CALL TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT it has being A BLESSING! Ms. Rosa the office manager schedule me within the same day of me calling, she also was so caring during my check in. She answer all my questions and kindly help me with my paperwork. After two month I needed some work related form to be done by DR.POTLURI and Ms. Rosa took care and arrange everything to be taken care of on a timely manner. Kuddos for DR. POTLURI for having someone like her in his office as well of the rest of the staff. For anyone who truly will like to have a better treatment please come see DR POTLURI the negative reviews are 100 % false.

The worst place to get treated. Rosa, his receptionist will talk to you in a rude manner, will leave your paperwork exposed (HIPAA Violation right there). She was discussing my health issues like a pro and even told me what meds to take or not to take, that my condition was not serious and that I should be working and not on disability. They should read other negative comments so they could improve. Dr. Potluri is NOT compassionate either. Need a letter? Nope, They're not willing to help!

Dr. Potluri and his Staff are wonderful, the wait time is short, about 5 to 10 minutes. The Staff is caring and considerate and willing to work with the patient's.

Dr. P. really listens and takes his time, you never feel rushed. He has helped me reduce my medications and I haven't felt this good in years. The staff is very helpful and courteous. I'm so glad I found Dr. Potluri.

excellent dr. have been seeing for over 5 years. very helpful, listens to my issues, concerned about my care and progress. highly recommend. joseph velasquez
