Dr. Alan Patrick Michels

This is THE WORST medical "care" facility ever. Example: They give a huge packet for new people to fill in and submit for them to determine IF they will accept you as a patient ... and the wait time to find out if you are accepted as a patient, is SIX WEEKS!!! I hope that gives everyone reading this a clue as to the type of "care" they have for your health, and the kind of disrespect you can expect from them. These people need to find another line of work.

Dr. Michels is great but his office people Suck. They don't pick up the phone and when you text it takes 3 to 4 days to get a message back. Your lucky if you get someone to call back from his office. Its to bad cause he is a good doctor and his office people i'm sure have cost him some business to be lost.

I'm sure he's an excellent doctor. Too bad I won't find out. After filling out a new patient information pack and returning it they told me to check back in a week. I called and of course it went to voice mail. Left a message and haven't even received a return call. Think it the incompetence of his office staff.

great doctor, takes his time with every patient, treat you like family if the wait in the lobby gets long its only because dr michels goes that extra mile for all of his patients

Dr Michels has been our doctor for 14 years and we couldn't be more pleased. The only problem is that he is now so popular that it is difficult to get in to see him quickly and sometimes, because of his personal attention he gives to each patient, there is a wait. I don't mind that since when I need some extra time, I get it also.

It's always a1 1/2 wait...if not longer

I have been trying to get my prescriptions written for over three (3) months. The medical assistants, and, therefore, Dr. Michels, are in my opinion, grossly incompetent. They do not return phone calls nor do they send prescriptions correctly i.e. wrong dosage , wrong drug and wrong drug provider. Can't get a return call from the doctor or the medical assistants. I must go to the office and still wrong.

We have since moved away from payson and let me tell you Dr. alan michels is the best doctor you will ever find. Not only does he know how to treat the problem but he truely cares for his patients.I wish we could have packed him and his family and moved them with us.

It'a like, if you want help, listen to me, if not, don't waste doctor's time. Did not have a choice of treatment. Or, what is really the problem.

Great Doctor and a great human being. His work in humanitarian aid and telemedicine profoundly augment his private practice focused on delivering whole-patient care to the entire family. Grateful to have him as my primary care physician.
