I was referred to Dr. Niederman by his partner for angioplasty. Never met him before the surgery. Bedside manner not present. I was sedated, but fully conscious for the entire procedure. Catheter went in wrist rather than groin, good news. I was able to watch the monitor while the probe went all through my heart (not for everybody), even heard the doctor say "oops" (Cosby routine at the dentist for those who may remember) when he found the problem...a 95% blockage of my left descending artery the "widow maker". Fixed the problem and I walked out of the hospital the next morning. After I was cleared by Dr. Rondino (about a week) the first thing I did was get on my bicycle and peddle as fast as prudent until my legs gave out about an hour later. Heart still going strong. These guys know what their doing. For most cardiovascular issues, no need to travel. But for them, I most likely would not be here today.

I'm an obese CHF patient with no history of heart problems who had a flu become a virus and travel to my heart. My world turned upside down and after a year of a lot of doctors and a new defibrillator/pacemaker, I finally got a second cardiac opinion from Dr. Niedierman. He ALWAYS make you feel HOPE and listens well and analyzes all aspects of your medical care in assessing your treatment. His knowledge of drug interactions is brilliant and if you follow his plan and he welcomes your comments. Not once has he rushed me out of his office or made me feel guilty for gaining some weight like so many others do. HE IS A MODEL TO ALL PHYSICIANS and I am so grateful.

Spends time patient and goes the xtra mile to awns questions. Very knowledgeable and unlike many, listens to the patient also.

I was impressed with his obvious understanding of the situation. He listened to what I had to say. He did not rush.
