Dr. Alan Eric Oshinsky, MD

I don't know where to begin; however, after the third visit, I was wide-eyed in disbelief that this man was still licensed and that his staff had put up with his shenanigans. Oshinsky's came with an out malevolence accusation out of nowhere that we didn't seem to believe his prognoses and became immensely irritated and aggressive. Does not read prior notes or does not remember patients even after the third visit in the same month. Insulting and unfiltered childish behavior treats staff horribly.

My family and I have been going to see Dr. Oshinsky for over 20 years. He diagnosed a hearing issue in my son when he was less than 2 years old. He has performed many procedures on various family members and has been kind and competent through all of them. My mother was in an assisted living facility and he made a house call to remove wax from her ears! Dr. Oshinsky has a matter of fact, but pleasant, manner when seeing patients. I would recommend him to anyone that needs excellent ENT care.

If you make an appointment to see Dr Oshinsky, be prepared. Be prepared for a pleasant staff but a capricious, moody ENT. Dr Oshinsky, whom I saw for two and a half years, I finally had to leave because although his medical treatment of my sinusitis was adequate and the surgery he performed effective, his mood swings and poor bedside manner became too extreme and unpleasant. His patronizing manner, lack of patience, and almost rude dismissal of my questions or comments finally became unbearable. His office needs a good cleaning. It had a musty, unhygienic air. (There were long tubes of some type always soaking in some liquid in a translucent plastic container like a long flower box--they mystified me and made me queasy.) His assistant was as sweet and nice as Dr Oshinsky was gruff and quixotic. I put up with him for as long as I could, until one final visit when he became almost nutty in a blow-up so out of proportion to the matter involved I had to confront it at last and say "No… more." (I called and let them know I was leaving his service.)

At first I did not like this Doctor. I also thought his bedside manner was bad. BUT..he had to put a scope down my throat and let me tell you he was great. It is not so much he is rude he is very direct which comes off that way. Recently I had pollups removed off my vocal cords and he did the surgery and everything went well. I apoligized to him because I even told him I didn't like him at first but he really does have a good sense of humor. I would go back to this Doctor anytime with an issue.

The Dr. was extremely rude and argumentative. I was 15 minutes late because downtown can be quit confusing and parking a nightmare. He rudely stated that his patients need to be on time and when I tried to apologize and explain why we were late, he said rudely that I was just making excuses.? So I ask him not to speak to me so rudely and to just take care of my son but he continued to be argumentative. I then ask him to just address me about my child in a medical aspect. He is an erogant person and we will not go back.

He was rude! Pushed my head around to rough. Just unpleasant to be around. Will not be going back even if I had no other choice. The staff was the only good thing about this office but they are not the ones sticking things in your ears.

Dr. Oshinsky is an excellent ent specialist and surgeon who uses advanced technology.I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs tonsillectomy.

Very good doctor both in the office and operating room. Uses technology to help people who suffer from sleep apnea. Helped me a great deal!

Have used this provider for multiple family members over the years he is fantastic with young and old alike would recommend him.
