Dr. Alberto Andres Borges, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Borges for over three years and he has always demonstrated an excellent professional and courteous personality. The staff has always been very professional, friendly and considerate.

Dr Borges is the best Doctor I have encountered and I am 71 years old with multiple issues. He really cares about the patient and takes the time to discuss diagnoses at length with the patients and he is always provided me the correct diagnosis and treatment. He is often late due to above discussions but in my view that is a small price to pay for getting the quality care he provides.

I've known Dr. Borges for the past 10 years and I would recommend him without reservations. He usually spends at least 20-30 minutes with me and will answer all of my questions. I can usually get an appointment within 24 hours.

I went here to get a quick prescription, and it took me over an hour to see the doctor. No one seemed concerned that he was running more than an hour behind schedule. This is the second time I went to this doctor, but im never coming back again. This doctors office has no respect for other peoples time.

I didn't get the oppportunity to see the doctor as the wait was 2 hours on this particular day. Unfortunately, I was not informed of this until I had already waited 1 hour. The office staff are unhelpful and it seems long waits are the norm at this office.

Went in and got some pathology work done (a skin sample was sent to a lab for identification). I was never called back with the results. 2 weeks later I call asking for the results (which they had sitting in their office the whole time), and asked some questions about what this information meant for my health. I was passed around to different nurses who gave me contradictory information before one of them decided that she "Wasn't the best person to ask."---OK--"Can Dr. Borges please call me back because I don't know what this means for my health," I ask. The woman kindly says that Dr. Borges will return my call to inform me about the test results. --2 weeks later, no phone call. I call them up and speak with a nurse with bad english who kept asking if i'd like to schedule an appointment even after repeatedly telling her that I didn't. After she finally understood that I was waiting for a long over-due phone call from Dr. Borges (over a month now), she said that in order to get more… information out of the Doctor, I would need to schedule another appointment and come in. I informed her that I had been waiting for 2 weeks for a phone call after another nurse had told me he would be able to call me. To this, she put me on hold for over 2.5 minutes before I just hung up. There is nothing worse than being told you have a disease by a pathology report and then not have your doctor follow up with a simple phone call to explain it to you. Needless to say I did not feel like I was in good hands. I will never go back here, and you should consider this when making your choice about scheduling a visit.

I have been a patient of Dr. Borges for several years now and I would recommend him to any of my friends and family. He has great bedside manner and is compassionate to patient's needs. I trust him with my life and health.
