Dr. Alex Ben Lipowich, MD

The BEST doctor! Not only has he been my Ob-gyn for years, he delivered both of my sons. My first pregnancy - flawless. He made sure to always answer my questions and concerns and We delivered my son without a problem (naturally). I then had a miscarriage which he helped me through. Last week, he delivered my second son via c section. This was a pregnancy with lots of complications. Doctor Lipowich spent lots of time guiding me through it. The last two weeks I spent at the hospital on bed rest and he made sure to come visit me every single day and go over my “birthing plan” (which he gave me options on what we could do and how we could do it). At the end, it ended up being a c section, few weeks early and now I have a healthy baby boy.I couldn’t do it without Dr Lipowich. He turned something so scary for me into a calm process. I will recommend Dr Lipowich to every woman!

Great doctor! I had my first gynecologist appointment made me feel very comfortable during my visit. Very professional and understanding.

I am midway through my second pregnancy with Dr. Lipowich and am planning to switch to a different practice next week. Dr. Lipowich definitely takes time to explain all the "whys", which I always appreciated, and I can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients, but as I gained a little more perspective I realized how unhappy I was with his practice. His practice is pretty laser-focused on weight, which has made a stressful pregnancy feel even tougher than it needed to be. Even after I returned to my pre-pregnancy weight after my first baby it was a huge topic of conversation. While I can see the benefit of discussing weight management with patients, it feels overbearing at this office, and I just couldn't take it anymore especially after talking with friends about their OB experiences. I will also say that his sense of humor definitely doesn't sit well with everyone--I didn't mind it, but I can see how others would.

Love Dr Lipowich!! He has been my OB 12+ YEARS NOW AND I WOULDNT HAVE ANYONE ELSE!

Doctor Alex B Lipowich delivered two of my babies the latest 7 months ago. He is a wonderful doctor doesn’t sugar coat anything. He does lecture about weight gain but I 100% understand and being pregnant isn’t an excuse to over eat. I am thankful because if he wouldn’t of told me what to eat I would of gained 30 pounds like my very first child. His staff is super nice!!! I have recommended him to all my friends And family.

I can't say enough good things about Dr.Alex Lipowich. He took excellent care of me during a complicated pregnancy where I was the risk of delivering very prematurely. Because of his excellent management and hard work, I delivered when my baby made it to full-term. He has an outstanding bedside manner and made a stressful time more easily tolerable. I highly recommended him and my family and I were very fortunate to have had him as my doctor!

A lot of waiting time to see the Doc., front desk is average, but it could be better, once inside is sometimes long wait too. Sometimes he spends time with you, but other times not really. Because he comes to see you for a minute and then disappears to visit other patients. I have been with him for the past 7-8 months of my pregnancy, and got super disappointed at my last visit, when I found out that I didn't pass the glucose test. Everything changed to the worse, Im doing great and this is my easiest pregnancy, but I felt that my Bithing Plan is getting out of hand, lack of agreement, and some offensive stetements, I can't trust anymore, and would not visit ever again. His demeanor changed, so as his attitude. Thats not what I expect, and I felt very unwelcome and unimportant patient. I don't feel like spending money out of my insurance to be treated second hand, and as an idiot. I rather give birth at the Emergency of another hospital, than coming back to this mess!!! When it… comes to how patients are treated from staff, its super obvious that there is favoritism over some patients vs. others. No, Thank you....I don't need this parody.

I have never been so offended by a doctor to the point when everytime I leave I am upset or angry. He is rude doesn't listen has a smart remark always in return makes comments on your weight while you are pregnant at every single dr visit. Tells you what you should and shouldn't eat. If you gain too much he will lecture you your while visit. I wish I switched my doctor but I didn't because of insurance. He shouldn't be a doctor he doesn't like giving up his free time to deliver you or care to your needs. I would not recommend him to anyone!!!!

Could not be happier with dr lipowich! Had such an easy delivery and pregnancy thanks to his care and support. I highly recommend him.

I wish zero stars were an option. I am shocked at the marginal response I received today to a situation that requires attention and care. I called and told the nurse my symptoms, and she told me I have a cyst, but it's not an emergency. OK, so last time I checked, you can't diagnose a cyst over the phone. Second, who is she to say it isn't an emergency? I'm the one experiencing the symptoms. She told me to make an appointment. I was then told I could only see a nurse practitioner who couldn't give me an ultrasound, "that would be a different appointment". OK, so, do you think I could get one of those? Anyway, I called another provider who told me to come in right away so I then called to cancel the appointment I'd made for today at 3:15. I was told there was a cancellation fee for same day appointments. That's great. I think that nurse's only job is to collect the cancellation fee.
