I have been a BSN RN for 42 years and worked 35 of those years in both Neonatal ICUs and quality leadership in 17 years. I was cautious in making the decision of surgeon for my right hip replacement. Dr. Alexander Glogau was selected and we began a very thorough journey at the Frisco Center. From the pre-op Joint Replacement Course through post op discharge course and follow questions by phone, my husband and I received friendly, informative and timely responses. My husband and I felt comfortable throughout this process. We were particularly impressed with the Dietary staff. Top notch food and timely Services. Every interaction with them was courteous.

DR GLOGAU REPLACED HAS REPLACED BOTH OF MY HIPS AND OPERATED ON MY SHOULDER. I FELT HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB. I FELT HE TOOK CARE OF ME AS I RECOVERED. MY WIFE HAD A KNEE REPLACEMENT AND SEVERAL OF MY FRIENDS HAVE HAD GOOD RESULTS WITH THEIR SURGERIES. I TRUST HIM.

Really like Dr. Glogau. He is treating my torn ACL surgery and recovery. He is definitely a more unrefined personality but I like this because he is human and I feel more comfortable with him. His contributions to the Plano area are un-matched and that goes above anything.

Had shoulder replacement surgery as an active male. Dr G stretched my nerves so bad that I lost function of my hand. I have had two other surgeries to ...

One word.. Rude

I had knee pain above the joint line and he told me he suspected a meniscal tear and wanted to do arthroscopic surgery. I learned too late that meniscal tear pain would be AT the joint line, not ABOVE it. In fact during my visit, his P.A. questioned whether pain above the joint line indicated a meniscal tear. I underwent a needless arthroscopic procedure which took me a full 6 MONTHS to fully recover from. A real hack, and arrogant and abrasive to boot!

Dr. Glogau is very caring and up front with you. I do not want a doctor to sugar coat anything. He is to the point but you know he cares about you. He donates tons of his time to help other people and local high school teams.

Dr. Glogau has performed 4 complex surgeries on me with great results every time. He rebuilt a shoulder, a wrist and replacd both my knees. He is a very gifted surgeon. He uses more conservative treatments first and only advises surgery if it is absolutely necessary.
