Experiencing torn minuscules is definitely a new experience for me, after several consultations with various professionals, i met with Dr. Golant one of the many doctors that were referred to me. Dr. Golant came off as a seasoned professional, who explained in details about the impending procedure and what to expect. As a fellow golfer he assured me that i would be teeing off in a short time after the surgery, and in fact he was right on point. To Dr. Golant and his staff, i would like to extend my gratitude and appreciation for a job well done, also accolades goes out to the nurse practitioner in the recovery room. It is always a special occasion when you meet a professional, who makes you feel comfortable and fearless at a time when you are under sedation. Dr. Alexander Golant performed surgery on my wife right shoulder and immediately after surgery he explained me in great details with pictures the damage he found and fixed in there and causes of it. Recovery went well and according to doctors plan.

I came to see Dr. Golant with a complex medical issue. Other doctors would offer the treatments that were easy for them to perform, while over inflating my expectations of the outcome. Dr. Golant did not sugar coat the complexity of my injuries, the required surgery or the recovery time. He recommended a treatment plan that was thorough and guided me from initial consultation to completion. He was open and honest about the expected results and complications that thankfully did not arrise. I highly recommend him and consider him a top doc!

Dr. Golant treated my knee and after being in so much pain and worrying about treatment, doctor spent time listening to me, explaining what’s going on and how to best treat it. He really seems to care about his patients and followed up with me afterwards to see how I was recovering.

Dr. Golant treated my grandmother and may have saved her life. Not only did he take great care of her injury but he dealt with her medical doctors and noticed that she was taking the wrong medication. He was so patient, nice, and caring. He was sympathetic to our family during this difficult time and even called the house to check on my grandmother during her recovery. The best doctor hands down.

I am a 66 year old woman. I went to Dr. Golant after a bad fall. Both of my knees were badly hurt. From top to bottom my legs were deeply bruised & extremely swollen & I was in excruciating pain. After his wonderful P.A. took all of my information, he finally came in to see me. He spoke only to the P.A. He seemed annoyed that I was even there. He would not let me speak to him & talked over anything I tried to say to him. He then proceeded to tell me that he was only a sports orthopedic & to NOT come back to see him again. I was very hurt & horrified by the cold & callous treatment I received from him. If it wasn't for the kind treatment from his P.A. I would have left there crying.

I was seen by Dr. Golant a couple of years ago for arthritis of the knee joint.He has excellent knowledge and I highly value his opinion.He spent time examining and explaining to me about the conditions ,has empathy and subsequently, after conservative treatment, performed a knee transplant.It has been a year since I have had the surgery and my friends and family are amazed at my recovery.I can walk more than two miles,totally bend my knee and can squat on the floor.People are not even aware that I have ever had knee surgery.I am forever grateful to him for bringing normalcy in my life
