Dr. Alice Chen, MD

Alice Chen, MD is dually board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation as well as pain medicine. She is a fellowship-trained physiatrist and interventional specialist in the non-operative management of spine and sports disorders. She treats disorders and injuries of the neck, back, muscles, and joints in a minimally invasively manner using techniques including epidural injections, blocks, radiofrequency ablation, joint injections, and medical acupuncture. She employs techniques using ultrasound guidance and fluoroscopic guidance to enable accurate treatment of deeper structures. Dr. Chen was educated at the University of Michigan in a combined undergraduate and medical school program. She graduated from her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey with election into the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. She did her fellowship in Interventional Spine and Sports Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in New …York City.
