My pre- and post-operative meetings with Dr. Alison Callahan, associated with Tallman Eye Associates in Lawrence/Andover, MA, were informative, to the point, and comfortable and comforting. The day surgery at Doctors Park/Andover Surgical Center was expeditiously organized by Tallman Eye Associates and smoothly conducted by Dr. Callahan and other attending medical personnel. She visited with me before and after the surgery. In both cases she told me about and then reviewed the surgical procedure and follow-up care details, provided information as I asked her a couple of refresher questions, and ensured a good appropriately relaxed but professional atmosphere by both her words and presence in the prep area, the surgical theater, and post-op area. A check-in with her a couple of weeks after this procedure had the same characteristics.
