Dr. Alison Oeben Moon, MD

I brought my daughter (age 1) here three times before finding an incredible dermatologist who had an accurate diagnosis (Dr. Pearl Kwong). During this odeal, Dr. Moon prescribed several drugs, the last one being a powerful one for psoriasis. After reading the warning label on the last drug she prescribed, I decided to get a second opinion. My new dermatologist seemed not just more natural-minded (didn't automatically jump into harsh drugs) but more importantly, knew the problem (simple bacterial infection on a birthmark) and the solution was much simpler and safer. It cleared up with Dr. #2.

Dr. Moon spends much time with you and cares about your health. I recomend her to everyone at the beach.

Dr. Moon lacks true compassion. When dianosed with a rare disease, after relaying she had treated one other pateint with the condition 10 years earlier, she relayed that the previous patient's husband divorced her patient as a result of the diagnoses. It was shocking and terrifying enough to hear of the diagnoses. I would not recommend putting oneself in the hands of a doctor who clearly does not exercise decernmant as the emotional exspense of the patients she claims to care for.
