Dr. Allan Robert Reinfeld

Dr. Reinfeld came through for my father where his own internist did not. I accompanied my elderly dad for a routine cardiology follow up and although that aspect of his exam checked out fine in terms of cardiac labs and diagnostics including echocardiogram, Dr. Reinfeld was so concerned about my father's weight loss and decreased breath sounds he immediately ordered additional laboratory tests and chest Xray, then followed up with CT scan to determine the source of his problem. He was on the phone with me personally to explain the situation. Unfortunately, there does seem to be some rather major communication gaps within the office that could be improved as I had called them to inform them of my dad's urgent hospital admission while getting no less than three calls from various members of their staff who were at times a bit harried in their responses to me when I attempted to explain the circumstances of my father's admission. But again Dr. Reinfeld returned a call to me… personally upon hearing of my father's admission and remained an integral part of my dad's care. I am indebted to him for his professionalism and diagnostic thoroughness.

This doctor embodied the complete stereotypical image of an I'm-better-than-you doctor. He would not answer my questions without making me feel like I was stupid. He snapped at me several times throughout my examination. He behaved as though he was far too important to be bothered. I have never spoken to sp poorly and I have never encountered a doctor as cold, uncaring and unprofessional as Dr. Reinfeld. Stay very far away from him.

Had a HORRIBLE experience with him. Was supposed to get back to me in 4 days after reviewing tests. Did not hear from him for two weeks. Has another Dr perform a procedure on me because he was not comfortable doing it, even though he had done them plenty of times. Did not call me back regarding my results for 4 days, and only because I called him every day trying to find out the next step to take. When finally heard back he yelled at me for returning his phone call on the number he had called me from which happened to be his personal line. INCREDIBLY unprofessional. Did not tell my main physician anything that was going on with me like he had promised and the only reason he was out was because they happened to run into one another at the hospital. He could not even remember my name when they spoke. Easily the worst medical professional experience of my life.
