Dr. Allen Han, MD

Arrogant bully. Shouldn't be working with veterans, let alone any patients. Told patient, "Answer me when I'm talking to you" Will tell you everything is a result of migraines without testing. Then bad mouthed two community neurologists to his patient. Not professional.

"Doctor" Han saw me several years ago and determined, after I told him that my husband and I enjoy a bottle of wine in the evening, that I had an "alcoholic tremor" and that my seizures were "pseudo" seizures. ( psychologically induced) After nearly SEVERING a fifth of my tongue during one of my "fake" seizures a couple of years later - I found a neurologist who determined that I do, indeed, have epilepsy. They haven't been able to control it with a plethora of drugs. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's four days before Christmas. It has gotten rather severe over the years, with me falling and having horrible balance problems. The "alcoholic" tremor has turned my life into a toilet. I finally got a diagnosis that makes sense of my shaking, my memory and vision deterioration, my falling, speech problems, staggering, inability to balance myself, etc., etc. I am disturbed that after an EEG as the only test performed, Han decided I was just some drunken nutcase. NOT. This guy is… not a professional and his opinion of me sharing some wine with my hubby at night is what allowed these diseases to progress to their current status. He formed an opinion based on his religious or cultural thoughts...and reacted to that opinion in a very negative and demeaning fashion. His negligence allowed these diseases to progress to where I have no hope for a decent future. Thanks for nothing, Han!

Never in my life would I recommend this doctor. There is no reason why a neurologist should be allowed to prescribe a person vicadin for head aches, and later methadone. He has no clue what damage he has caused to a person's life, which has now resulted in death. I hope you rest well at night, for my sister's blood is on your hands!!

Been to several doc's in the treasure valley. Dr. Haan has been the only one that has taken the the time to listen, explain, and truly seems to care. Bedside manner is above and beyond. Wish he could be my primary physician. He gives me botox injections for my migrains, and uses the right medications to treat my symptoms. I would recommend Dr. Haan in a heart beat......

Excellent diagnostician, caring with patients, terrific ability to explain to laypeople all aspects of condition and care.

Yesterday they called to remind my wife of her appointment. When we arrived this morning, AFTER a 30-minute wait they informed us that Dr. Han would not see my wife unless she forked over $160 cash, and that her balance was over $600! We were unaware of this. Why didn't they let us know sooner? They said that our insurance had mailed us checks to cover previous visits. We called our insurance company, and their records showed they had mailed only one check for $58 four months ago. Anyway this insurance is secondary, as my wife's primary insurance in medicare. Why didn't they bill medicare? I offered to make payment arrangements, but the bookkeeper refused! She had just told us Dr Han would accept $160 so my wife could keep her appointment! What's the difference between that and payment arrangements? Then she had the gall to ask if we wanted to reschedule! If we ever see these people again it will be in small claims court. We're shopping for another neurologist.

I was diagnosed with Chiari 1 malformation. Dr. Han moved his schedule around to fit me right in for my first visit. He is an amazing doctor and helped me manage my pain and guide me through my recent diagnosis. His staff is always professional and kind.
