He is very arrogant...when I asked if I should also have a plastic surgeon come in, he said "no, I'm that good"! Well...HE IS NOT!! He may get rid of your cancer, but you may be very disappointed with the way he leaves your chest!! I just left a meeting with a plastic surgeon to get mine fixed/redone. Not excited about going back under the knife. :/

Wouldn't recommend this quack to my worst enemy! First phone message was not answered. 2nd call was lied to. Untrained amateurish sponge change that caused a night full of pain and misery. Lied to about hrs of answering the phone.

From my first phone call I was lied to. When it came to changing the sponge in my wound he did that wrong causing me a night full of pain. He put the suction part of the wound vac machine directly on the muscle tissue and not on the sponge dressing. The message I left about having to use pain meds reserved for more sponge changes was never addressed. When I called within open hours, there was no one to answer the phone. Nothing but lies and no attention to the pain he caused.

Dr. Pecoraro is not only a very talented surgeon but he also has compassion for his patients. I can't say enough about him. I do highly recommend him to anyone in need of a skilled surgeon with a great personality and passion for helping others.
