Waited 7 months for the appointment with this doctor and the appointment time was 2pm. I’m in the exam room waiting. It’s now 3pm still no doctor so I opened the exam room door and I see the medical assistant who tells me the doctor is running a little behind. In my book an hour is more than a little behind. At 315pm the manager Michael comes in the room to apologize but the doctor has some difficult cases before me and the doctor should be in soon. I told him I’d wait another 15 minutes and then I was leaving. At 330pm I opened the exam room door to leave and the MA tells me the doctor is almost done with the other patient and I’m next. I asked how much longer, she can’t give me an answer of course. I walk to the front desk and tell Michael I’m leaving and then he went in the back to see how much longer the doctor would be and his answer was she would be done soon. I told him not good enough since I’ve already waited an hour and a half. I left the office, furious. Bottom line, I made… the appointment 7 months ago. I’m sitting in the exam room and not one person came in to tell me the doctor was running late until I opened the exam room door after an hour of sitting there and then I got nothing but excuses. Had it been me that was late they would have canceled my appointment and charged me a no show fee. It was a total waste of time, an hour and half in the exam room plus an hour of driving to and from to not see the doctor. If you have nothing better to do with your time, make an appointment with Dr Persaud. I will be finding a new neurologist!!!!
