Dr. Amy D Ciborowski, MD

I really hope that she never has to deal with a doctor like herself. She made an already stressful situation even worse by not including me or my family in her decision. And basically tried to ambush me into a decision. I understand doctors have a lot of patients and not a lot of time and sometimes need to be very direct. But Jesus Christ, she took this to a whole new level. Dr. Ciborowski did not take the time to look through my medical history and simply did not communicate with me or discuss my options with me. She just ran into my room, told me her decision and left. I didn't even get her name and had to ask my nurse afterwards. Luckily I was able to talk to my nurse and explain to her what I wanted and what was happening instead and it was the end of her rotation and I got a new doctor the next day. That probably saved my life, despite Dr. ciborowski's efforts. I really recommend that Methodist put her in for some training on communication and bed side manners. This is not to… say Methodist is a bad hospital. I was born at a Methodist and will probably die at Methodist. But boy they picked a bad doctor here.
