I'v seen him several times, he was always in a rush, I had a very lethal colitis and need a special treatment as soon as possible, he said he will contact another group who will do the treatment, and ask me to wait for the appointment, I waited over two months without any response, I mean if the group was over booked, he should have referred me to another doc who can do the treatment, there are several doctors doing this type of treatment in Houston, finally I found another doc by myself and received the treatment. recently, he ordered my sample to be sent to a never-heard-of company, and the multi-thousand dollar test was not covered by my insurance, but his nurse (originally from Vietnam) confirmed me that it would be fully covered by my insurance before I sent the sample, in fact, this is a common test and all the major medical labs such as Labcorp and Quest can do it and will be covered by most insurances. when he got the test result which showed another different disease, he… ordered a medicine that will induce this exact type of colitis, after I saw him several times for the colitis!!! fortunately I have some knowledge of medicine and did not take the medicine he ordered, and recovered without any treatment. other docs at Ertan digestive disease center charged regular copay, the copay for him was always three times higher.

I went in for a sibo test. 1800 dollars out of pocket later, I didnt get the test I wanted, but a bunch of blood tests and services, I didnt authorize. And to top it off, they sent me to collections for 140, after I already paid 1660. What a scam.

He always seems to be in a rush, disinterested in explaining things to the patient. The team does not return phone calls and becomes rude if you talk to them about it. They’ll say “We’re in clinic,” but so are other dr’s offices and they still manage to call you back before 4 days. My experience with them has been incredibly stressful and frustrating.

Not very compassionate. Did not show sincere Concern for solving my health problem. Also, On each visit a different understudy had to review My complete history.

I saw the doctor 2 weeks ago and the nurse has yet to set up my appointment for Remicade, in the meantime I am loosing more weight. I have lost 30 lbs. now and am getting weaker by the day. 110 lb and 6'1 - if you are in a flare, this doctor does not see any urgency. Disappointed

Very long wit time .Staff never gets back to you after repeated calls about test results or prescriptions. Dr. seems disinterested or distracted. One gets the sense of that he would rather be someplace else. He. gave drug which caused temporary shut-down of kidneys and liver. Don"t go if you value your life!

Dr. recommended a very expensive test. Medical Assistant gave me his report but I had no contact with doctor: no explanation of test & results, no explanation of prescription, no follow up to see how I was doing, if I was better. No patient care, doctor too busy. Medical Assistant took 3 days to return my call.
