Dr. Andrew Lawrence Whaley, MD

Seven months after my BOTCHED surgery, I have had to resign my position that I have held for 29 years. I lost all my excellent benefits and most importantly, my husband has lost his "Cadillac" insurance plan for the next 54 months. I was a healthy woman with a very physical job and this doctor RUINED my career. I am in pain 24/7 and have been incapacitated by this knee replacement surgery. Even the stitches were done improperly causing me to go to weeks of wound care. What doctor in 2019 can't do stitches properly? I spent SIX months in physical therapy and they could not help to get me back to work. I would NOT recommend this surgeon.

I am in pain 24/7. I was just released from wound care after the stitches were improperly done. I am still going to physical therapy 3 days per week. The TKR implant causes me great pain. I was a healthy woman with a very physical job before my surgery. Dr. Whaley left me in pain, disfigured and unable to work for the last six months. I would NOT recommend him to my worst enemy.

Twelve weeks after surgery I still have huge scabs. This doctor provides NO aftercare. His care ends the day of the surgery. I wouldn't let him operate on my pets.

3 weeks ago I was given the go ahead on surgery. Had to get all my pre OP labs and physical done. Go back today to get the surgery date and he said nevermind he wasnt doing the surgery. He made it very clear that he is the doctor with 5 years schooling, not me. Doesn't matter that the MRI shows impingement and I need the surgery. I was crying so hard and he didn't care. He just kept saying he was the doctor and the one with a degree.

Sally at the front desk is rude and aggressive as a new patient I will not speak with her on any matters from this point on, not customer friendly

As a physician myself I researched all of the orthopedic docs covered by my insurance and chose Dr. Whaley. Very happy with my surgery and the aftercare and would choose him again, (though I hope I never need to of course).

Good dr very straight forward and honest could use a little work on bedside manors I didn't like being told that my BMI wasn't compatible with life but he is an excellent surgeon and cares about his patients getting better

Dr. Whaley is an excellent orthopedic surgeon and I trust him completely. He has replaced both of my knees and my right hip. The surgeries were all very successful. I will continue to see Dr. Whaley and have recommended him to family members.

I was just really surprised he was an actual Doctor, I should of saved my money and just gone to a nurse. I am sorry but I hope to never see this doctor again he is not to make people get better at all.
