Dr. Angela Marshall explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand. She involves me in decisions about my care and always follows up. Her communication is top-notch!

Most of the reviews on this site are old. I've been going to Dr. Marshall for about 10 years. Before the pandemic, she was understaffed. But since opening up again after the pandemic, she has hired more staff who are very attentive and very knowledgeable. Dr. Marshall is one of the rare breeds of doctors today who takes time to learn about her patients. She schedules follow up visits to ensure the health path she has set one on is working out. She is kind and smart and never minimizes the patient's complaints. She takes every patient seriously and tries to find appropriate and effective solutions. If you have to wait to see her in the waiting room, it is usually because she does not rush her patients. Her nurse practitioner, Julienne, is always available, is very knowledgeable about medicine, and is kind and friendly. I cannot recommend this practice more highly.

Dr. Marshall is good but not good enough to stay. Staff is well understaffed. Silver Spring location is a joke. I waited almost 2 hours for my appointment. A hour in the waiting room, then another 45+ minutes in the patient room. I had 2 test done and never got a phone call about the results. Its a shame when you do call the office during office hours, it goes straight to voicemail. Last straw was when the lady in charge of billing lied to me about a bill that was covered by insurance which she told was not!! Ever since the move from Medical Park Dr to Dennis Ave this practice has gone down hill.

It's been a long time since I've gone to a doctors appointment where the Dr. took the time to talk with me. Not only was she respectful and compassionate, she listened to me thoroughly, she allowed me to ask questions and took the time to thoroughly explain what my conditions were until I fully understood, and she provided her suggested plan of action and explained why we were taking that course and not another. She is also huge on preventative care. I am thrilled to have found a Doctor that is not only thorough and highly skilled, but one that is empathetic and humane. Thank you, Dr. Marshall!

Test results should be verbally provided and discussed by either a M.D. and/or a P.A. to patients. NOT from medical assistants nor, office staff.

I have been trying to call since last week for my results. It's "press 1" for this and "Press 2" for that, then it takes you into another set of "Presses". Week two and I have not been able to get my results. I have been coming to this doctor for over 5 years, have never met the person called "Dr Marshall", I think it's just a name on the door. I liked the last doctor I recently saw but this results thing is really pissing me off. I don't know if the office shut down or what because the staff at Holy Cross was trying the call the day I was there and had the same problem with Press 1, then when you get there you have to press another number and it's a never ending circle.

The practice has recently moved. While the front desk service has improved, getting time with Dr Marshall has gotten worse. I waited one hour before she saw me and then tried to rush out after 10 min. I have emailed and called her regarding my health and have yet to receive a response back. While she is a nice person, she needs revisit the oath she took and become a real doctor who is responsive and cares for her patience.

I have been a patient of Dr. Angela Marshall's for over seven years. The front desk staff is highly professional, courteous and very pleasant with every visit. I am very comfortable speaking with Dr. Marshall or anyone else on her team. Following her advice has led to a normal glucose level (no meds for diabetes anymore), lost 40 pounds and asthma is in check. She is not only a wonderful doctor, but a genuinely nice person.

A friend referred me to Dr. Marshall and it was the best gift I've received in a long time! Modern, up-date, great staff! The PA's are really good too!!
