Dr. Angela Danette Thompson, MD

She is very mean, very rude and unprofessional. I asked her for a fertility test and she said she was not going to do one because it was not her fault that I waiting until I'm 33 years old to get pregnant. She talked to me like I was dumb. Never going back to this doctor.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a physician. She was rude, abrupt, no bedside manner at all, and told me I was too "old" to be thinking about having a kid (at 33 !! I have two friends who just had kids at 37 and 39), and Dr. Thompson said "it's not her fault I waited so long". She is a cold and uncaring person who has no business being a doctor. I am leaving KAISER the next opportunity I get.

When Dr Thompson entered the examination room, the first thing she said to me was "Why are you here? You are not supposed to see me" in a very rude way. I told her, "My primary care doctor told me to see you -- this is an OBGYN situation." I felt so sad and as I was in much pain -- I felt like leaving the room but I didn't. Second, I have done pap smears many times, but I never felt as much pain as when Dr Thompson then did a pap smear on me. She was so rough and not gentle at all. And her nurse was also so rude like her. I would NOT recommend her to anybody.

Dr. Thompson is absolutely brilliant. Her expertise is superior and impressive. For years I suffered with yeast and bacteria simultaneously. No other physician was able to effectively treat me. Dr. Thompson instinctively knew what to do and she cured me! She is so kind, gentle, optimistic, patient and thorough. One thing in particular I seriously appreciate is her communication. Her cool calm demenor is comforting and reassuring. No other physician has listened attentively like she has. She is professional, wise and talented. She genuinely cares about her patients and their individual needs. I am so thankful to have her as my OBGYN. I highly recommend her and I trust her with my health and my life.

Dr. Thompson is one of the rudest physicians I've ever had the misfortune of meeting. She made it clear that she thought I was wasting her time, belittled my concerns (complete with eye-rolling, a sign of a clearly immature medical "professional"), and didn't even try to explain anything. She also kept pressuring me to take treatment options that I knew were not going to help my condition, if not make it worse. I would not recommend her to anybody.
