Dr. Angela Wright

Angela Wright is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (ADAC) with over 7 years of experience. Angela has been working with agencies as an Outpatient Counselor since 2015 focusing on helping individuals with co-occurring disorders by promoting growth and change by meeting individuals where they are. Angela works with adults, couples, and adolescents dealing with substance use, depression, anxiety, relationships issues, trauma, adjustment issues, and health services. Angela Wright attended the University of South Carolina-Aiken where she earned her undergraduate degree BA in Sociology. Angela earned her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Angela believes in promoting self-awareness through encouragement and empowerment, acknowledging and recognizing individual strengths. She utilizes person-centered (PCT) approaches, motivational interviewing, strengths-based techniques, and cognitive behavioral techniques …(CBT). Angela provides an empathetic, compassionate, non-judgmental environment where you can talk candidly about your concerns. Angela will assist you in developing healthy coping skills, a positive way of thinking, positive affirmations, encouragement, and empowerment through self-awareness.
