Dr. Anit D Ford, MD

Have only had Dr. Ford as my/our PCP for a year. Super impressed with how caring and thorough she is. Have had to change PCPs three times due to Medicare ins. coverages. NEVER have any previous PCPs gone to the extent Dr. Ford has to gather ALL of my medical histories. I see several review complaints about her office staff. She appears to be serious about addressing that problem, and there appears to be a complete office change over since we have been seeing her. I find the new staff anxious to serve. Time will tell. You MAY have a longer wait to see her as she spends more time with her patients as thorough as she is. That is the reason we selected a female physician, as they are more "nurturing".

Physician refused to take complaints seriously. Ended up in ICU for 2 weeks. Staff are incompetent also.

She cares and listen patient then she has a very good diagnostic. She prescribes all tests necessary and finds the specialist for you if needed then she follows up the patient with tests results. Very happy to have her. I highly recommend doctor Anit Ford. Cécile

I have been a patient of Doctor Ford for years. She is a very caring physician. I love her dearly. I do have two problems: 1. Staff. They have gotten worse. They have a problem giving referrals and when they do, give the wrong doctor, or wrong code. She needs a new staff or they need to be more productive in their referrals. No.2 They send their information to India to get referrals. I have a big problem of that. India?

Dr. Ford is thorough, always professional, and has a wonderful caring demeanor.

Dr. Ford has been my Primary for the last 4 years. She never ceases to amaze me I have been in healthcare in Sarasota for the last 26 years and am really grateful to have such a bright, caring Physician keeping me alive. (I'm 76} she has kept me going through some trying times. I feel blessed to have her on my team

Have been going to Dr Ford for ten years. She is a excellent and caring.

The doctor is okay and the staff is HORRIFIC!!! Extremely rude and disrespectful. Had no concern for my sister's serious health condition. Never again will I visit this office. My heart broke the way the lady showed no consideration for my sister's health. She repeatedly said "I don't care. I'm not sending the referral this week. It'll be done in 7 days." They had send they'd be sending the referral to the other Dr but didn't!!! Showed up to the other docs appointment and no referral had bee submitted by Anit Ford's staff!

My husband & I have been going to Dr Ford for 10-12 yrs,she is one of the best Doctors we have seen in Flordia since coming from Chicago 18 years ago. Dr Ford makes us feel like her family,& treats like she would a member of her family,only the best will do.

Things worthy of praise are : A spotless office. A good staff, and a very altruistic manager, that knows her stuff. A doctor that knows who comes in and out of her office, and who has a bedside manner that enables her patients to grow, period.
