People either write reviews when things are excellent or horrible. I wish it was the former but this review is for exceptionally bad treatment. My advice to anyone who has a choice— choose someone else and do your research. You may end up leaving there with an unsolved issue and feeling like you were in a police station being interrogated. It’s more than a bad bedside manner, it’s flat out inappropriate and unprofessional behavior. I left there wishing I’d never gone to a Neurologist and rolled the dice and hoped it turned out ok.

Dr Hunt took the time to review all my past medical history and listened very carefully to my current concerns. She did a thorough exam and paid close attention to detail and what I had to say. I found her interested and knowledgeable.

You assume by going to MGH, you’ll be seen by physicians who are tops in their field. Dr Hunt is the antithesis of “top” in field. Her bedside manner is downright atrocious (@ best). She is short, abrupt, condescending & down right nasty to her patients. She will demean and degrade you. Please, please go to someone else. There’s no need to subject yourself to her verbal abuse. This woman is an insult to the medical profession and to MGH itself.

I had an excellent first appointment with Dr. Hunt. She obtained a very thorough medical history and made me feel at ease. She is direct, personable, and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend her!

How can someone so educated and smart not understand the human condition. I was treated by Hunt like a 5 year old. I found she got pleasure out of inflicting me. The worst bed side manner I have every experienced. She needs to go back to school to learn how to treat others like human beings. I had a complete mental break down from this doctor. I'm writing this to hopefully spare another person from being the unfortunate victim of Dr. Hunt's extreme lack of any positive bedside manner. I don't care what her credentials are, she is rude, arrogant, condescending & lacks any sliver of kindness or empathy. MGH should be ashamed to have her treating patients at their esteemed institution. Unless you want to feel worse and not better after your appt, then RUN to another physician. Boston is the home of the world's best medical care. There's no need to subject yourself to her emotional abuse. Giving her a "1" only because there's no -10.

Dr. Hunt was very interested in the holistic approach to the reason I came to see her. She is direct in her questions and recommendations. She also does a very good job of balancing the new requirements for doctors to interact with the Electronic Health Record but also to be focused on the patient. She explained that she would have to do some things for the health record and then, when complete, clearly made complete eye contact and focused on what I had to say. Upon completion of her analysis, she dictated her findings while I was still in the room which enabled me to know that she did hear and take in all that both my husband and I said.

fortunately on rare ocassions a person manages to have a medical license who should never be inflicted on people who put trust in the md title, she has negative personal issues which she inflicts on the inflicted on a random basis, she is condescending, arrogant, rude, unprofessional, i am a psycian and have personal experience in making this statement, my advice, find another neurologist

Dr. Hunt's personality is not for everyone, but I find her very funny and enjoy interacting with her.
