Dr. Ann Anh Thuy Nguyen, MD

I went to Dr. Nguyen after searching my insurance for gyneologists. I was very unimpressed with her interest in my concerns. I told her of many symptoms I had and I stated I researched them, and what pops up for many of them is endometriosis. At that point she had already decided to put my on BC (it seemed she decided this before I even met her for the first time!?) And all she said was, "Well, you know what the treatment for endometriosis is? Birth control pills." Ok, we don't know that I HAVE endo, it is just what some of my symptoms point to. I have many symptoms. Ugh. The appointment was so fast I felt I was not able to epress my thoughts or concerns to her, nor could we discuss the ones I did tell her. So, I asked the receptionist a question. Dr. Nguyen called me back to her office, and charged my insurance for a SECOND office visit. If she had listened to me or let me talk to her during my appointment, that would not have been necessary. And their "system" for getting your test… results online did not work, I waited well over 10 days to try. I called and it took me nearly a week after that to get my results because they could not find my file! I will NOT be going back to her.

My experience with Dr. Ngywen has been great. I had a probelem and was seen that very afternoon. I like her bedside manner and her follow-up.

This Doctor is very uncaring, always very unconcerned with how I'm feeling. She always orders unnecessary tests that have nothing to do with my condition. When I have become ill or have any problems I just got the run around from them for weeks and am told that I haft to be seen, but can't get an appointment for 2 or 3 months. A concerned,caring Doctor would say come in immediately when you are ill and having a lot of problems. I think this Doctor has taken in too many patients and she can't handle them all. She is always too busy,in a hurry when I come in the office and never takes the time to listen to me and answer my questions. I also think she is more worried about making a lot of money than the well being of her patients. I would not recommend this Doctor to anyone.
