Dr. Anthony G Hadden JR., MD

My procedure was Minimally-Invasive Lumbar Micro-decompression for my back pain. Dr. Hadden was very professional in his approach and had me undergo shots to isolate the most successful procedure to address my condition. I had a great experience with him and would use him again.

Dr. Hadden is the best doctor I have seen...ever. He listens, he looks directly at you not his computer; he makes you feel like he really cares about what you're going through. I will refer him to all who need a neurosurgeon!

I would NOT recommend going to Anthony Hadden! He does not do good follow up care and does not care about his patients after doing surgery on them. Also does not visit patient in the hospital. I had a cervical spinal stenosis done by him and now I am totally disabled with severe chronic pain and can only get around on a mobility scooter! He has totally destroyed my life! I wish I had never went to him but medicaid does not give you the option of a second opinion. He also does not check on his assistants that give out the wrong medications!

After four years of severe back pain and injections that stopped working, Dr Hadden recommended a XLIF procedure (fusion). I am now 6-weeks post surgery and have never felt better. Dr Hadden and his staff are extremely professional in a thoughtful and caring manor.

I WOULD NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO GO TO THIS GUY, I HAD A NECK SURGERY AND NOW AM TOTALLY DISABLED AND CANT WALK BECAUSE OF HIM! HE REFUSES TO FIX WHAT HE SCREWED UP ON BECAUSE I AM ON MEDICAID. WHEN A DOCTOR TAKES A OATH, I ALWAYS UNDERSTOOD IT WAS TO HELP HIS PATIENTS GET BETTER NOT LEAVE THEM CRIPPLED!

Ref to HADDEN by neurologist for herniated disc and bone spur. Recommended acdf immediately. Problem with insurance approval and then did not hear from him for almost 4 mos. i worked with ins alone to get approval through appeals process. I needed his offices help. I called and left messages, emailed. Nothing. All I got was a $550 inv. I moved on. Found dr who performed foraminotomy. No fusion!!!! Hadden and his office staff can shove it

Dr Hadden performed a very rare procedure on me (someone with genetic complications), so it was a very rough 5 day stay at the hospital. After the surgery, despite all of the complications, he NEVER ONCE visited me after the surgery. Instead, he sent in his psychotic assistant Drury who was beyond rude and completely uneducated. When I mentioned Drury's behavior to Hadden, he commented that many of his patients before me have said the same thing! But to this day he hasn't made an effort to fix this. I believe it comes down to a simple lack of care for his patients. I do not trust him at all!

Having degenerative disc disease, I have had two previous spinal surgeries. When I moved to Bend two years ago I found Dr. Hadden and I couldn't be more pleased with his surgical expertise, bedside manner and caring staff. After trying all the conservative methods available, I opted for a cervical fusion and the results have been very good! Two months post-op and doing great!

I went in with severe back pain, and a dislocated SI joint. He basically said there was nothing he could do for me! I went home in tears. I contacted my primary care provider who prescribed muscle relaxers and saw my chiropractor and had my joint and low back worked on. I later received an almost $500 bill for my quick visit with Hadden. As far as handsome(another review) he looks like a hobbit, unfortunately acts like one too.
