Dr. Kent Douglas Yundt, MD

After having a major issue with my lumbar spine, where it basically degenerated 40 years in less than a year, Dr. Yundt did an amazing job with a Multiple Level Spinal Fusion that has kept me both mobile and active. Prior to going in for the surgery I was almost to the point of a wheelchair and not doing anything because the pain was so intense. After the surgery, even with the surgical pain...which was well managed...I felt SO much better over all! I was back walking my normal amount in just a few weeks and enjoy Life again!

I entered the hospital with a brain problem, which turned out to be a Brain Meningioma, diagnosed by Dr. Yundt at St. Charles. He carefully operated on me for over 7 hours, removing all the tumor except for a little bit that needed to stay. He is so wonderful and caring and so totally handsome, you have to smile the minute he enters your room. You know you're in skilled hands and you feel better right then. He continues to make you feel like you are important to him and your recovery is primary. I am doing well and am back to work at my Safeway store on a part time basis! I also think Jason and Scott are wonderful as well. The Northwest Brain and Spine team are exceptional, in the office and in the hospital and in the operating room!!! I thank God for letting these people know me and fix me for the future! It's hard not to go on and on.

What a Quack!! He and staff only want t inject cortisone even after told bad reaction and complications from previous injections. I was told yo let him do his job which was to inject cortisone. I stated that would not happen and i asked why insist on cortisone even after bad experiences. He stated didn't want to be sued.

Had lower back fusion of L4/L5 in 2005. Was the BEST thing I ever did. Dr. Yundt tried all un invasive ways to address my degenerative disc disease. Last resort was fusion. Of 100% pain 24/7 he made me mobile with 20% pain. Which compared, I can hardly feel the pain. To me, he is my super hero!!!!

I had a Kyphoplasty of my T9 and Dr, Yundt did an amazing job. Total confidence in him and all his staff.

Dr Yundt is a phenomenal surgeon and an amazing human being. He is the most compassionate doctor I have ever encountered which is highly important when your faced with life threatening surgery of a loved one. Dr Yundt preformed two very serious surgeries on my husband, one involving the brain and Trigeminal Nerve and one the brain stem and Occipital Nerve . He explained everything in great detail. After surgery he was prompt to explain the outcome and my husband's status. During our hospital stay he made several visits personally to check on us during his patient rounds including the weekend on his days off! Our after surgery follow up visits were equally satisfying in terms of the quality of care and compassion shown by Dr Yundt and his staff. We are forever grateful and I know without any hesitation that should I ever need surgery in his field of expertis, Dr Yundt will be my first and only choice. Absolutely without a doubt a World Class Surgeon. We feel amazingly Blessed he lives… and works in our home town. I can't express in words enough how highly I recommend this doctor. We would travel any distance to see him, but thankfully we don't have to travel at all.

Dr. Yundt, including all staff in and out of surgery were incredible! I had my literally my life in the hands of Dr. Yundt with having been given the news that I would need a craniotomy to remove a large tumor in my brain. He did an exceptional job to say the least. He was also very careful to consider concealing the scaring so welI. My family and I feel very fortunate and blessed that I was recommended to him, and was treated and followed up by Dr. Yundt! . . and right here in Beautiful Bend Oregon!

Straight forward, honest tells you like it is. Gives you options. Assists with making appointments for other physicians needed. Good guy!
