Dr. Anthony Lombardo, MD

Dr. Lombardo is excellent! His expertise, effectiveness, & attention are outstanding. He listens, & takes intricate care with his patients. He is down to earth, allows you to feel in the best of care, & shows genuine concern/interest/positive treatment for his patient's injury/illness. He is the best of the best. I am very grateful for his care.

I worked in ophthalmology for 27yrs, with over 40 doctors.No matter the field of medicine, not all doctors have it all.I worked with some who had difficult personalities but then excellent in diagnosing and treatment.Very few are gifted in their field and compassionate with patients. I worked with one who stopped to greet a patient I was prepping and he sat down on the floor to talk.Dr Lombardo did something equally comforting, after an injection, he reached over and put my shoes back on.This is truly a gesture unfounded in a doctor.I would be proud to pass his name on.

Dr Lombardo is one of few that listened and showed true concern and understood my somewhat crazy issues. I have worked with surgeons for years. Many over 30 yrs at trauma hospitals in South Florida to surgery centers in Brevard. Unfortunately unable to now and hoping some day I will again. Dr Lombardo again listened actually treated me like a doctor is supposed to. Our system unfortunately has made a bunch of businessmen with greed as their main trait rather than care for the patients that depend on their knowledge and genuine concern for the patient not the $$. My last boss an eye surgeon I worked for almost a decade with was basically extorted me and made accusations after my annual reviews were all glowing. I had to stand up for myself. I had to get legal help. Turns out I was a salaried employee non exempt yet he never gave me a nickel for ALL the OT I worked. He the accused me of owing him hours, over 100 hours. Then said he would waive them but I don’t get a raise this year.… Amazing it was right when the overtime law was in legislation and well.. he didn’t know I actually pay attention to politics and have intellect beyond being a surgical technologist. Anyway he made a mistake and paid literally. Little weasel. That’s what many doctors have become but NOT this guy. The $ is not his prime motivator. His true passion and care of his patients is first priority always. Hey if you spend your life in school and become a surgeon you should make lots of money but it should not be why you do what you do. I trust and would recommend Dr Lombardo to anyone of my family and friends without hesitation. If you want a real DOCTOR!!!

I had three elbow procedures performed by Dr. Lombardo to treat a Workers Comp injury. He told me to be patient and I'd be as strong as before the injury. Long story short: he was right. A few years later , I chise him to fix a knee injury. I'm now living in South Carolina but would travel back to Melbourne to see him!

Knee Surgery and rehab went extremely well ; his management has saved me from total knee placement

I saw Dr. Lombardo on Jan. 9th and over a month later the staff has not been able to get me a simple referral to the correct practice. Firstly, no answers to 2 emails sent thru patient portal. Secondly, No referral was ever done after waiting several weeks. Thirdly, when the referral was done was sent to two different practices that don't do the radiation treatment as prescribed. Very disappointed in the lack of followup and errors in referrals.

I let this butcher wreck my shoulder -- twice! -- in two failed stabilizations. I had to search the country to find a surgeon willing to clean up Lombardo's mess, and finally found a genius at the Jewett clinic who rolled his eyes at what Lombardo had done. Sure, he's a nice guy, but he's also a total incompetent. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Lombardo has performed 3 different surgeries on me and all have turned out really good. He is very good at putting the parts and pieces back together.

Been a patient for years I've always been satisfied

Dr Lombardo is very good at what he does but his staff is largely unresponsive and completely lacking in common courtesy. It has gotten so bad with his current nursing staff that I will be seeking an alternative Orthopedic for my needed knee replacement surgery.
