I started going to Dr. McCarthy about two years ago. Initially, I was planning to go to him temporarily until I found a female primary care doctor. I eventually found a female primary care doctor but the office was all the way in Greenbelt, MD. I only saw her twice but kept coming back to Dr. McCarthy. I enventually changed my pcp to Dr. McCarthy. He is very caring, a good listerner and I never feel rushed and on to the next. He is also very professional and prompt. No long wait times and he takes walk ins. Relocating soon and this doctor will missed!

Dr. Macarthy is a very caring doctor who takes time to explain things, and he is patient in listening to, and answering to questions.

A pretty new office I believe. Things can be a bit slow when starting. Because I can be critical I decided to give the Doctor a chance. The staff is very pleasant and on the ball with what you need. This is very important to me since having a rude staff just make you feel worse. I have had some of that in other offices. Dr. Macarthy himself was very professional, detail in his explanations and made the necessary referrals to the specialists I needed to see. The overall experience was great. Will recommend him to friends. By the way, the flexibility of the office hours is awesome. They keep an appointment schedule but gladly accepts walk ins. That is cool.
