Dr. Anthony Theodore Schiuma, MD

Years ago in the mid 80’s I had a Lamenectomy done by Dr. Schiuma. A couple of years later again I needed another surgery to remove scar tissue that ensnared the nerves at the surgery site. There was a lot that transpired during that period of time. Dr. Schiuma was my saving grace from God. He was wonderfully compassionate. That accompanied by his excellent surgical skills earned him the name “My Angel”. Due to the work that my sisters and I did in the medical field we had the honor of helping obtain needed services for his sickly father, comfort and relief to his distraught mother. Since that time we moved back up north to care for our own mother who was failing. It turns out that in addition to my mother’s passing, I also lost both of my sisters and a brother. My point is that to this day the thought of Dr. Schiuma and that experience brings warming comfort to my soul. You will always be in my heart and prayers. Respectfully, Annette R.O’Cone Bracco

I saw him in 19 84. He did surgery on my back. No post-op instructions were given me in a written form. And he left town on vacation right after I was discharged. I had no help post-op. And when I did see him he was arrogant and sarcastic.

waited for an hour and five minutes past my appointment time. when I complained to receptionist ,who never had the courtesy to inform me that the Dr was running so far behind in his schedule, I was told thats what happens when you see an orthopedist! Outrageous!

I have been seeing Dr. Schiuma now for about 8 years to treat a chronic lower back problem. Dr. Schiuma is the only physician who has helped address, treat, and alleviate my pain.
