Dr. Anthony (Tony) Moon is a Family Medicine Physician who is passionate about lifestyle medicine and weight-loss medicine. What is your patient care philosophy?In working with patients, I find it is important to first listen to what they want to share with me. Through meaningful conversations with a patient, I can begin to learn about what is important to them and am able to serve them better by working with them to create a wellness plan that works for their specific needs. When did you know you wanted to be a doctor?I determined that I wanted to pursue a career in medicine during my third year of college. What are some interesting facts about you?I love banana-flavored candy but hate bananas, and I have a huge weakness for chocolate chip cookies. I love dogs, scuba diving and working out. Would you like to share about your family? My wife is the most important person in my life, unless our dog Alex is wanting attention! What childhood memory do you have about visiting the doctor?Like many children, the best part of seeing the doctor was when I got my grape or watermelon dum-dum pops for the win!
