Dr. Antonio Oracion Ong, MD

I highly recommend you find a different doctor. During the absolute worst time in my life, and through my endless stream of tears, Dr. Ong literally told me my child "would always be like this" and nothing would change. He had zero empathy and seemed to relish in my anguish. It was the single worst conversation I've ever experienced. But guess what? He was wrong, and my child is now thriving thanks to the good people in our village.

From other reviews here, seems he has a pattern. We got assigned to him through our HMO for a family member and the appointment was over the phone. He made light of the family member needing help and said "Well, we don't want you to be a female dog, do we?" We were very confused by that and he said it more than once. The 2nd time it was clear what he was trying to say. There is no time or place this guy should ever be in a position where he needs to be caring and helping someone. We filed a complaint, but that doesn't seem to really go anywhere with his organization.

Dr Ong failed to fulfil his professional role, upset my teenager and made the child less stable, was judgmental, unpleasant, inappropriate and abused his position. Other staff agreed that his actions were unacceptable. He shouldn't be practising medicine.

Dr Ong treated my son and was so lacking in compassion, humanity and understanding that he left my child more psychologically distressed after his session than before it. Disastrous, horrible, upsetting and appalling.

I liked that Dr. Ong listened and was open to trying different types of medications for our grandson who has ADHD.

This Dr is a pill mill and typical shill for the phytropic pharmaceutical companies. He lacks all the fundamental qualities necessary for a physician. Avoid at all costs. Unless you want to be undiagnosed and supplied with an endless stream of meds.

Our son was failing bad in school, retained and labelled as stupid ! we found out with Dr Ong that he had ADD. With medication , it was like Day & Night difference. My family resisted it but thanks to his patience, he listened well until we understood . Our son now is going to UCSB for college, we are proud !

He diagnosed a are congenital disorder that others missed. Our son was biting himself, banging his head and was diagnose to have Autism. Dr Ong diagnose him as Lesh Nyhans Syndrome and the rest is history.We are thankful for your compassionate care & medication choices, bless your heart & skills !
