Dr. Arash Bidgoli, DO

I really need to find where Dr. Bidgoli has moved to after leaving Capstone pain in the south Dallas area. I would like to become his patient again even if I have to drive a little more. If you can give me his new location I would really appreciate it.

Dr. Arash Bidgoli is a VERY caring, compassionate pain doctor. I have been his patient for over 3 years now with few complaints. His bedside manner is absolutely perfect, he treats his patients like they're in actual pain instead of treating us like criminals, and he has NEVER been even REMOTELY cross, ugly, rude, insensitive, etc towards me at all, even when I screwed up, he very surprisingly dealt with it in a very kind, professional, yet direct manner. On the other hand, there are what I perceive some problems: 95% of the time I see his Nurse Practitioner, which I wouldn't mind now and then, but I'm paying to see a doctor. I understand that he follows his NP VERY CLOSELY on all his patients, but for me, its still a downside. I DO really like his NP, however, and we have developed a great professional relationship! A HUGE downside: If you get injured, have surgery with unforseen complications, etc, HE WILL NOT (and possibly cannot) give you additional medications to get you… through until your next refill. Unless you inform them of your surgery AHEAD OF TIME (AND the surgery is extensive enough!), you WILL NOT receive post-operative pain care from his office. The pain medicine contract states you cannot fill prescriptions for opioids from ANY OTHER DOCTOR besides him, not even from your surgeon...yet he will NOT provide adequate post-operative care if you have unforseen surgical complications! BEWARE OF THIS! And, if they offer you an appointment to come in early before your next refills are due, DON'T BOTHER GOING, because he either can't or won't do very little if anything for you, leaving you out a co-pay AND still suffering with inadequate relief until your next refills are due ANYWAY. In other words, you might as well tough out the pain, etc, until your next refill(s). These words of advice come from 3 years of personal experience with this doctor! Some other words of advice: If you have upcoming surgery, try to skimp as much as humanly possible on your breakthrough meds several weeks before your surgery (or the SECOND your surgery is scheduled). That way, you have those meds should the surgery be more painful than anticipated and/or you wind up having painful complications. WARNING: Do NOT take more than one or two "extra" 2-3 times per week (for safety's sake...and even THAT is NOT RECOMMENDED, but if you're left to "fend for yourself" so to speak, that's your only option), use common sense and be an informed, WELL-EDUCATED patient. I cannot overstate how VITAL it is to be EXTREMELY WELL-EDUCATED AND WELL-INFORMED!!! Most importantly, try your absolute BEST to follow your pain doctor's instructions to the LETTER; you will be VERY sorry if you don't and you probably will be left to suffer...remember: you MUST NEVER make ANY mistakes when it comes to pain management! Otherwise, Dr. Bidgoli is a wonderful doctor and I would recommend him to most people with pain issues! Remember: Pain doctors expect you to literally be a PERFECT patient who NEVER makes mistakes of ANY kind when it comes to being compliant with their treatment plan(s)! Source of knowledge: Personal experience from dealing with not only my OWN pain issues, but also a close relative's pain issues for most of my life (about 15+ years).
