Dr Mata and his staff have been exceptional. My visits pre and post surgery were extremely thorough. Dr Mata has a good sense of humor and his nurses are very much on top of things. I felt very well taken care of throughout my entire surgical process considering it was a huge decision and one I’m am very glad I made. I would highly recommend Dr Mata.

Dr. Mata is the best, my dad Dr. Westcott refered me to him when i had pain in the bottom of my foot.

I was referred to Dr Mata by my PCP for an infected cyst on my neck. My initial appointment was all of two minutes - Dr Mata looked the the cyst, said it was infected (made a joke about me being “ripe”) and pulled out his surgery schedule. While I was thrilled that my painful issue would be taken care of the next day, everything happened so fast that I had no time to object or even ask questions. I was not warned that I would be restrained during the procedure, which is a major trigger for me. I was also not warned that the local anesthetic does not work on infected areas. Dr Mata proceeded anyway, taking the opportunity to laugh at me for my “low pain tolerance” as I screamed in fear and pain. I would not see this man again if he was the last doctor alive.

The staff at his office are very kind and attentive. During the consultation and before the surgery (breast augmentation), things were not fully explained such as exactly what would happen during the procedure. I had to go online and do a lot of research to mentally prepare what my body was going to go through. During the first consultation when I showed my breasts he laughed and made a joke which made me uncomfortable. He didn’t really express concern with what I told him I wanted, but more so told me what he thought was best. The day of surgery he was very busy, came in one time to basically say hi and ran out. Without giving me any reassurance or making sure I didnt have any final concerns. It has been over a year since I have had surgery and being fully healed, I would say I am overall happy but think I could be happier. I didn’t know saline implants wouldn't feel nearly as natural as silicone. Also, i had wanted my breasts to be bigger, but he insisted they would look like beach… balls if I had them any bigger. I disagree with that. However, overall i am satisfied with how my breasts look, they are a much better improvement than pre-surgery.

Had several spots on my face he removed. He did an excellent job with very little scarring!

Dr Mata has done a great job with my Breast Reduction. He truly cares about the final "product" and healing properly. His staff is great and easy to talk to.

I recently went to Dr Mata for a breast augmentation. I have to say that I am very satisfied with the whole process. I am now a week and a half post op, the weeks leading up to the surgery Dr Mata and his office staff were very helpful and answered all of my questions. The follow up post op is phenomenal, I have already seen him three times since my surgery to make sure everything is healing well. As for the work itself, I could not be happier. All in all a great experience.
