Dr. Arshad S Iqbal, MD

Dr Arshad Iqbal Neurologist is an absolutely terrible, useless, uneducated, unknowledgable, unexperienced, cold, rude Neurologist, and definitely doesn't care about patients. Shouldn't be qualified to be any type of dr, he told me at my appointment he purposely gave me the wrong diagnoses in my medical records because he wants me to get a Lyme disease test and him lying about my diagnoses is the only way to get that test. I told him then I don't want a Lyme test, that I want him to put my correct diagnoses it's very important to me that my medical records are correct, but he adamantly refuses to correct it. So now my medical records are not truthfully about my conditions. I also am having neurological cognitive issues with my brain, thinking, functioning, and he said he's a Neurologist that doesn't know anything about the brain so he can't help with any of those type issues, nothing brain related. Omg I was shocked! What a rude useless dr, he's not to be trusted, not competent at all!… I'm so upset.

Arrogant ,have tell tale signs of obvious nerve damage,telling me it’s from anxiety and depression, one of the least anxious people I know, got upset because I wouldn’t take Zoloft , got even more upset when I did the research on the internet and managed to diagnose myself, very condescending, does not return phone calls , I would not recommend this dr

1: Twice he cancelled my Appt a day before it should have been. 2: One appointment I cancelled because I had a stroke an went to Kent Hospital on that day. I called his office that day, yet he billed me $50 for a no show. Please read on: He was at Kent Hospital that day and my doctor taking care of me was talking to him right outside my room, and mentioned he should go in and see me. He did not! 3: I was put on a new medicine at RI Hospital, due to head injury which also helped my Myoclonus (nerve disorder that dr Iqbal was treating) This Med worked way better. I looked it up and it was for Myoclonus. I called him twice to get my information from the RI Hospital, before my appointment with him. Day I arrived he wanted to do MRIs. So I asked him. “Did you call RI Hospital” and he said “no”. ”Why should I pay for MRIs that were already done?” Then I inquired about the medicine. He said I could only take it for three weeks. My PCP said that was false. Am still on it and it works… great. That office visit cost me a $45 Copay, for “nothing”. 4: I could go on about his lack of manners, uncaring attitude, lack of office staff, being poorly treated,etc. You have seen that in other’s reports. 5: That 1* to me is a minus 5* report 6: Told my PCP the things above and I needed a different neurologist because I fired Iqbal as my neurologist. 7: Please Please Please do yourself a favor and find a GOOD neurologist an not one who has BAD ratings.

Treated me, told me to get answers from pcp, no effort to look into my symptoms, nice Tesla in the parking lot though, going to a new nuerologist, stay clear of this guy Sally E.G, ps minus star rating

I’m writing this in hopes this does not happen to someone else..they change things.. I was there for a for two hours only to be seen by an intern alone no doctor accompanying which I have no problem doing..he was back and forth a few times leaving me in the room alone.. being there for 2 hours only to be told I should be seen by a dermatologist that to me was sad.. I lost time at work and money..I think any new patient should be seen by the doctor not an intern by themselves...

I was referred to Iqbal yet charged $400 for 2, 10 minute visits after paying a $40 copay each time because he listed it as non referred! Even though I clearly was! Two 5 to 10 minute appts where he did nothing but tell me to stop taking all my migraine medication that was helping me! Refuse to see the “log” he asked me to keep for six weeks. Rushed me out of his office with no advice or medical attention. Save your time and money and do not book an appointment w Iqbal!

Dr. Iqbal does not spend enough time with patient. I am however billed from the time I go in the room but the visit is not more than 3-5 minutes and it doesn't seem like he's hearing what I have to say. For some reason he continually hires secretaries who either don't like their job or are just miserable. Their phone manner is terrible and they are not realizing that we the ill patients are the ones who pay their salaries and don't deserve attitude when we call by empathy and compassion.

I haven't been to a neurologist in three years and Dr. Iqbal could not have been nicer. He was so professional .

Rude, lazy and incompetent staff. Good luck getting them to do anything. Dr. Iqbal himself seemed to have a plesant bedside manner although I did feel very rushed during an appointment when he was running late.

No wait because it is dead in there! Wonder why...Place is old and kinda run done...Do not recommend!
