Dr. Barnet Irwin Alpert, DO

Dr Alpert is amazing clinician. He was my family physician for many years and he nearly crease to be being a physician. He would return calls and listen attentively. Dr. Alpert practiced in the office in the same fashion as ALWAYS. He saved my husband life, Dr. Alpert discuss with him the importance of having a procedure which my husband refused. Dr. Alpert genuinely loves to practice his profession with compassion and care. Thank you Dr Alpert for your humanity.

Love this doctor, patient, caring and always willing to listen and explain until you understood all your medical issues. Was very sad to hear of his retirement. He is surely missed by me and my family. Have not found another Dr like him.

Dr. Alpert has been my doctor since the early 90's. Though I have changed jobs from where I get my health insurance, for the last two decades, I was happy to be able to maintain him as my family doctor since he is a member of most networks. Besides being very intellectual in what he does best, he is a very caring person and practical at the same time. The most important thing I like about him is that he does TALK TO YOU. He actually pulls a chair and sit next to you and LISTEN as you give him updates from the last time you see him. This is what I love him most. He takes the time to listen to his patients. Not a lot of doctor would do that. So even though I sometimes wait for him to enter the room, I reall never minded it because I know that he will give me the time I need with him.Overall, he is a great doctor!

Always has a medical student or nurse in training shadowing him, and often has them initially see you. You explain everything to them; they get it wrong, then you have to re-explain everything to him when he gets to see you.

Dr. Alpert was the only Dr. that diagnosed my Thyroid condition after 4 months of ER visits, private Dr. exams, and endless pain and discomfort.In one visit he run the necessary tests to diagnosed me with hypothyroidism. Since that day he is my family Doctor and I will not change him for anything.He is always concern about everything related to our health well being.Always gives you the necessary time to answer all your questions and his staff is the best.I highly recommend Dr. Alpert.
