Dr. Frieder is an extremely incompetent, lazy, p*** poor excuse for a medical professional. I made an appointment with him concerning a Traumatic Brain Injury, and in less than 15 minutes (including the phone call he took) he concluded that no medication could help me, and there was nothing further he could do. Basically, I got the impression he'd rather I took things into my own hands, just to lighten his own case load. A doctor's job is not to incite unimaginable depression and hopelessness just to make his job easier; because he'll collect the same paycheck regardless. Simply put... Barry Frieder is just another worthless, do nothing, government employee. Jeffco Mental Health is a sham! One last thing... There's one review that's different from all the others on this page, who do you suppose wrote that??

I don't know what other peoples experience is like, but the man is a good Dr.have been a patient for several years. I prefer him above all others. He cares for his patients.

WARNING. FIND A NEW DOCTOR. After loosing my insurance I was issued Medicaid and sent to Frieder. Wouldn't prescribe adderall (which I had been prescribed for the past 15 years) and expected me to quit Cold Turkey which is not recommend by the AMA. PATIENT CARE IS IS NOT HIS MOTIVATION. don't waste your time.

This so called doctor was 30 minutes late to my appointment. He was so unorganized and very unprofessional, I felt uncomfortable and violated by him.
