Dr. Benigno Burton Bobon JR., MD

I have been going to Dr. Bobon for about 12 years. He is always friendly and caring as is his staff. They are all responsive to your needs. In addition, I have needed Dr Bobon at least 3 times after hours in the last 4 or 5 months. Each time I called, he called back within 30 minutes (sometimes within 2 or 3 minutes). And each time he gave me a prescription to alleviate the problem I was having. I would highly recommend Dr. Bobon and/or Maxa Internal Medicine to anyone looking for a good internist.

My blood pressure was 195/121 so I called the answering service to find out if I should double my meds or go to emergency. She stated Dr. Bobon was the Dr on call and would give me a call back within 30mins. He never called. So I called back after 1.5 hours because my blood pressure was still extremely high and my resting heart rate was 110. He finally called me back and said “what do you want and who are you? I’m sleep “ He was very short and rude. I explained my situation then he said “I’m in the bed. what to do want me to do?” I asked should I double my dose he said yes and hung up. Me and my daughter was in awe. We couldn’t believe our ears. Dr Bobon is not my physician and I’m definitely glad he’s not. I feel so sorry for his patients. If you need a physician I strongly recommend you see Dr Maxa. He’s awesome! So sad Dr Bobon works out of his office.

Very happy with my continuous care here. Dr Bobon listens well to my issues and addresses everything for me.

When I need to get in to see him quickly, I can. When I had a high blood pressure scare, Dr. Bobon called me back himself. I have had a positive experience every time I have been his office - AND the wait is short,

First let me say Dr. Bobon is awesome. One of the best doctors I ave ever been to. I left his practice because very rude people on his staff. I went there for an appointment and I was very sick.. I was turned away because of a $44 billing misunderstanding. I had the money to pay...that was not the issue and still is not. I miss him and his wonderful assistant. I am still very sick and wish I could see him again. How cruel that these people in his office control the health of very sick people over $44. Do not be deceived.. whatever a man sews he will reap. One day they will need help and get treated like they are dirt.

Muy mala atención.. no atienden sin cita aunque el paciente esté enfermo... Por parte de las recepcionistas ( las personas de enfrente que está atendiendo se hace con mala actitud... no me gusto y les sugiero no vallan

Dr. Bobon is not a very concerning doctor. He acts like he is being bothered all the time. When he is on call he is always just quick to get off the phone and tells you to go to an urgent care! Horrible bed side manners!

I've been going to Dr. Bobon for the past 10 years for physical and other medical care. Great doctor with a cool personality.

He was called in for a hospital consult. I was very, very sick and disoriented from 6 days without any sleep whatsoever and the hospital had me on a lot of medications which were having very adverse effects on my entire system. I had never met him before in my life. He spent 5 minutes in my room. Later, I requested my medical records and found that he had written in my chart that his impression was that I had an undiagnosed Personality Disorder. It turned out I had meningitis. He is, in my opinion, an idiot doctor.

I made an appointment to meet this doctor to see if I wanted him for my Primary Care Physician. I had to cancel my appointment which was the first appointment of the day and was told there would be a $50.00 charge. When I told them I was sick, there was no sympathy or asking how I was feeling. I was told I was getting off cheap since it was actually costing him $150.00. I had worked alll week to try and get my printer working to print out the forms and have them filled out before I arrived at the practice or arrive 30 minutes early but since my appt. was the first one, there was no chance to get there early. I had brain surgery 4 weeks ago, am on oxygen therapy 24/7, etc., and cannot tell from day to day how I will be feeling. At least my decision on a new PCP has been made....NOT Dr.Bobon. As I was reminded 4-5 times during my conversation with the receptionist, the only thing she was concerned about was the MONEY.
