Dr. Blake Alan Bergeon, MD

Dr. Bergeon listens well and provides a detailed explanation of the cause of the pain and condition. He is extremely knowledgeable, empathetic and always takes the time without my feeling rushed. I have seen him numerous times for multiple matters and his course of care has consistently been spot on. I would highly recommend Dr. Bergeon to a friend or family member.

I’ve seen Dr Bergeron 3 times, like him very much. He’s not a fan of surgery, hurray for that. I think the treatment he has planned for me is wise, physical therapy, the the steroid injections which are working very well so far. He did take a second look at my MRI and also had a neuroradiologist look at it too, and surgery might still be needed but, hopefully not anytime soon. He takes plenty of time explaining everything. I don’t know who complained about the staff, but I found them polite and helpful.

After several failed back injections that made me worse, he said my only option is to have laser treatments (which is not very well known or heard of) and requires me to pay cash because insurance does not cover it -- hmm, wonder why. He made me feel that I was unhealthy and making up my back issues - although I've had two back surgeries. He said sometimes people just have to live with issues. He didn't listen to my issues and had very POOR manners -- I would start to ask him a question, and he would say "that's in the past and let's not discuss this".

Dr. Bergeron went over and above in treating me and he explained everything in a way I could understand. Highly recommend him and his office staff is excellent too!

I was referred to Dr. Bergeon last year when I had severe pain on my right leg. He identified the cause of the pain after some testing. I have been pain free for 6 months. Thanks to Dr. Bergeon. He was professional, prompt, and polite. I would recommend him.

Not meant to be a doctor

Dr. Bergeon enters the room, sticks out his hand, says "how are you?" and looks directly at you. Not waiting for a stock "Fine," he actually wants to know how I am. And I tell him honestly, because that seems to be what he seeks. He is calm, reassuring, holds a lengthy conversation about the patient, not wasting time with joking around or talking about sports or the weather. In the end, a number of issues have been handled and we are well on the way to a soution. Mission accomplished, time well spent.

This Dr. is more of a physical therapist so he believes you should be in shape and then you won't have any back problems. That is what he told me. He made me very uncomfortable. But, then he recommend I have treatment at another facility where he owns part and you pay cash because Insurances do not cover. I did not trust him and felt he was lacking knowledge. He didn't listen well and had POOR manners. The office manager clerk at the window was very RUDE to patients. Maybe she is his wife.

Doctor is excellent. Slow to the knife. His diagnosis have been spot on for me, he has a direct no nonsense manner that I truly like. If you want a warm hug... see Dr. Phil. Dr. Burgeon has always spent as much time with me as needed, and answers all of my questions completely and honestly. Unfortunately, some of his staff are rude and unprofessional. Appointment times are hard to secure if the problem is acute

He & his staff treat you like a person not a number.
