Dr. Brady G Giesler, MD

I am a cancer survivor who has received multiple radiation treatments to my lower spine. I also have osteoporosis and a history of annular tear. The pain in my lower spine has become so severe that I sought medical opinion. Dr. Giesler entered the exam room announcing as he washed his hands, that either "I was there because I thought I had something dangerous" "or I wanted medication" Neither was true. I was there to find out what was wrong with my back and what I could do to live more comfortably. What I got was his misinformed opinion that most elderly people have back pain. He told me that annular tear = back pain and doesn't mean much. I am a retired ER nurse. Having worked aside many physicians. Most are kind and concerned. Some are arrogant and condescending and never confronted about it. That's why the practice continues. I felt compelled to address this treatment. His lack of compassion is unacceptable.

Dr Giesler was very nice and informative. And waiting time was only about 20 minutes. Everyone in the office was so kind. I’ve been to several Doctors for several different parts of the body at this location. I highly recommend all of them.

From the Receptionist desk to the Exam Room, and to X-ray and to our exit, all the staff were kind and pleasant, professional but also caring. Excellent service that gave me confidence in all the staff and doctor. Highly recommend Dr. Geisler.

Dr. Guesser and his staff are wonderful and always make me feel welcome! I appreciate that their approach to treatment is, let’s try this before we jump into treatment that is more intense!

Very helpful in referring me to another doctor!

Dr Giesler was rude when I presented with immobilizing lower back pain. He told me ‘welcome to being an adult’ and basically said that adults have back pain and there was nothing he could do surgically. We had to push to ask for PT or recommendations of things to help. He reluctantly signed an order for PT and just wanted to throw pain meds at me (when I had already explained that I didn’t want to be taking narcotic pain meds). If you don’t need surgery, stay away from Dr Giesler as he is not helpful or compassionate.

He diagnosed and operated on a severely herniated disc between my C7 and 8. I woke up absolutely pain-free and have been pain-free ever since. He has a wonderful bedside manner and takes time with his patients to answer their questions. I have already recommended him to several people and will continue to do so.

If your struggling thru life with neck or back pain don't waste your time here @ The Dr.Giesler rotating door every 2 minutes office,not even close to the previous visits at any other doctors. I have to many issues to trust a few simple clinical hand tests. I have 3 bulging discs in my neck. 3 in my back with nerve damage all reported in a MRI. Dr.Giesler acted like I sprained my wrist or something ? Just Shocked...

Dr. Giesler has the disease I often associate with successful doctors who have been in practice a long time: he talks aAT you instead of tTO you. His well rehearsed spiel was clinical, detached, and delivered in a manner that suggested he has seen this so many times that I was just a drop in the bucket. Also, it is a big turnoff for me to hear front office staff gossiping, discussing patients, and displaying unprofessional attitude.

Has always been very courteous and respectful.
