Dr. Brandon A. Simonetta, MD

Dr. Brandon Simonetta is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and Florida native, born in St. Petersburg. He joined The Orthopedic Clinic in August 2023, bringing fellowship training in spine surgery and extensive experience in orthopedic trauma. Dr. Simonetta received his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Orlando Health in central Florida, followed by a spine surgery fellowship at Sonoran Spine in Phoenix, Arizona, where he conducted research on adjacent segment disease and trained under leading spine surgeons, including Dr. Michael Chang. At The Orthopedic Clinic, Dr. Simonetta specializes in spine surgery and trauma care, using advanced techniques such as minimally invasive surgery, tubular and microscopic surgery, robotic-assisted surgery, spinal fusion, navigation-assisted surgery, deformity correction, fracture stabilization, and kyphoplasty. He treats a wide range of spinal conditions, …including degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, spondylosis, spondylolisthesis, cervical myelopathy, neurogenic claudication, scoliosis, spine fractures, and other complex spinal pathologies. In orthopedic trauma, he manages fractures of the clavicle, forearm, wrist, femur, tibia, and ankle. Dr. Simonetta’s approach to patient care emphasizes personalized treatment and open communication. He takes the time to understand each patient’s concerns, explains the diagnosis and treatment options clearly, and develops care plans tailored to their goals. Outside of work, Dr. Simonetta enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors. He is also passionate about technology, video games, and computer programming. A dedicated sports fan, he supports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, Orlando Magic, and Tampa Bay Lightning. At The Orthopedic Clinic, Dr. Simonetta sees patients at Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, and Port Orange locations.
