Dr. Brenda Lynn Mcmahon, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. McMahon since 2018. I have a rare autoimmune disease and standard pharmaceutical prescriptions gave me liver toxicity, so I decided to seek an opinion from McMahon on additional therapies. Because of the protocol she has put me on, I am now flare-free from my autoimmune disease. Lifestyle medicine has done wonders for me. Dr. McMahon takes your entire lifestyle into account when building your program. She is not a "cookie cutter treatment" physician. She will spend 4+ hrs with you at your initial appointment. This woman dives into science more than any other physician I've met, and as a nurse, I've met a lot! Dr. McMahon has been so beneficial to my treatment, that if she ever moved I would follow her. You won't go wrong with seeking her opinion!

She charges 1500 for the first 6 mos ,at 1st apptmt she promised she could turn my complicated health issues around. I have had multiple TBIs, chronic fatigue, severe food intolerance, etc- the food issues were most problematic and I was only able to tolerate a few foods without horrifying reactions. All she did was get my hormones in balance, put me on peptides that helped for 4 months. When it came time to sign up for 6 more months for $995, I questioned what the plan was and she told me "if I don't start eating a healthy diet, then there's nothing she can do that would help me", ignoring the FACTS and lectured that needed vits and minerals come from food. Wow-so I stopped going. Found a wonderful Functional Med Dr who in the first 2 hr apptmt figured out I have MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome) and immediately the simple protocol he put me on has stopped my reactions to the foods I had most recently tolerated. Dr. Brenda McMahon had no clue, so tried to blame/shame me.

Dr. McMahon is one of the best Drs I have ever been to, and I've been to a lot. The 2 staff members I met, Alyana and Donna, were so kind and friendly and the wait time was only about 5 mins. Dr McMahon is exceptionally kind and caring, the appointment latest almost 4 hours because she is so thorough, and that was after the initial conversation of 45 minutes when I called to inquire about her and her practice and what to expect. After that detailed conversation and filling in a lengthy questionnaire she determined the lab tests needed prior to the first office visit. It only took 10 days from the initial phone call to have my first appointment, where she had a plan all mapped out, based on the conversation, the forms and the lab tests results. She thoroughly explained all of the test results, what was going on and what her plan was to turn it around. And she knows her stuff. She listened to all of my concerns and adapted the plan as we talked. She uses the best quality… supplements. I left with tremendous hope and trust in Dr. McMahon and her ability to turn around my complicated health issues and get me well.

The only physician who could help me with my complex medical issues. Compassionate, honest and the fee is well worth the 24 hour access I have to Dr. McMahon.
